Holds well without being greasy or too stiff. Hair still feels soft but it holds all day. Smells good too (subtle).

I alternate between the billy jealousy products and this. it holds well (i use it on damp hair or wet my hands a bit first), seems to hold longer and firmer than the billy j headlock cream (the one i use the most - smells great), and maybe washes out a bit easier. doesn't smell as good as headlock in my opinion, this one has more of a chemical plastic smell, but at least it's light and seems to dissipate relatively quickly. Also have Floyd's 99 Grip, which definitely holds better, BUT smells a little worse (again, YMMV), is stickier, and thus is very difficult to wash out.

This is my go to styling cream. I have tried other products and they are either too rigid or glossy, this is the right match.

I’ve used this hair product daily for over five years and have been very happy with it. The exception is that it is prone to drying out if left out in hot weather after which point you might as well throw it out because the consistency will never be the same.I placed an order and the one on the left showed up and I saw that it was either dried up or not fully filled and decided to initiate a return. They sent a replacement product (right), which was considerably worse than the first one. It’s so dried up and small that it rattles around loose in the container.I’ve ordered this product for years from Amazon as I no longer go to Floyd’s and haven’t had problems in the past, so maybe just a bad batch that sat in the sun too long??Good luck!

I've made two attempts to try this product. After really liking the shampoo I decided to give the styling cream a shot. The first order I received felt much lighter than expected in the hand. Upon opening the product I discovered that the cream appeared to have dehydrated to about 75% of its normal size and was now the consistency of a dry desert river bed. I figured it must have had a long stay in a warehouse somewhere and decided to return it and give it another shot. Upon receiving the 2nd order I found the exact same issue. At this point I'm done and will go back to the competition.
