Superwinch2050 Winch Cradle Hitch Mount fits SX10000 Talon 9.5 Tiger Shark 9500 LP8500 LP10000 Terra 45 UT3000 SX45 Winches

The hitch bar is 2.5" too short for my 2014 Jeep Rubicon Wrangler. The hitch on 2007+ Wranglers is recessed behind the bumper, and this makes the bar too short, and the Superwinch Tigershark 9500 winch will hit the spare tire. I will get a longer bar, one way or another to make this work. The bar is 12 3/4" long. Also, the opening in the platform for the bar was too small, and I had to pry it open wider by driving the hitch bar through the opening with a mallet. This caused a mushroom at the end of the bar where I pounded it (it took a lot of force), and I had to grind that off to get the bar into the receiver opening. Also some paint taken off. All in all, I am disappointed in Superwinch, but I have noticed that other cradles have the same issue with the bar too short.

This was the best value deal I could find and I am happy with the product. It was straight forward to put together and my Champion winch fit just fine. I did have to drill new holes to mount my roller assembly.It is solid and heavy. Keep in mind the weight of your winch as well as this metal cradle. I can lift it all assembled, but I'd hate to do so in a precarious position. If you can barely lift your winch, you might consider a permanent mount.

Ifyou have a truck that you really dont want to have those big mounts or brush guard or like myself just did not want to to modify or add supports this is the easy way to go. Easy to put together and works great

Winch cradle arrived packaged alright. Fairly heavy duty, nicely cut parts. However.... the paint job is terrible. It was flaking off in the box! Still worth the money, I think, but I'll have to sandblast and repaint for sure. Not cool, superwinch...
