The green pointer is bright enough to see the beam in the air when it is dark enough. The red and violet ones are not very bright (especially the violet, they're likely just as powerful as the green, our eyes are just not as sensitive to those colors because they are on the edges of the spectrum.) The violet one will cause fluorescence in some materials such as office paper.

Yes, these are relatively cheap, but it shouldn't cost a lot to get a basic, working, laser pointer. Only the red beam is a normal-size point, but it cuts in and out. The green beam is wide and speckled. The purple point is tiny and pale, so it's only useful on a bright white background. The description says these are adjustable, but they are not. I'm disappointed.

All three worked perfectly. Much more economical than what I was finding at local office supply stores.

Only received one the green had no directions to show me if and how to change the beam to different colors

Excellent for lecturrs

They worked as expected. Batteries were not supplied so what is to rate. We will see how they perform in use.

I did not mind they came with no batteries for the price just would have liked to know before they got here
