G-Shock MudMaster Men's Wirst Watch GSG-100-1ADR

So yes, this is a thick watch. If that is a dislike, you may want another watch, however, I have a thin wrist, and don't usually like thick watches, and this is not cumbersome. It is very light and wears well, so I don't know it's thick.Beyond that, I love that it is solar charged, adjusts for Daylight Savings Time (though manually) has a readable day and date function for my office days, and large white hands on a black face, so I can read it at a quick glance. I think the hour luminous dots and hands are readable in the dark without using the light function. The blacklight /neon light function is very cool and a fun difference from the mainstream.As a Mudmaster, it has the ruggedness I need as a Search and Rescue member, as a kayaker, I like the serious water resist = 20 BAR (depth conversion says this equals approx. 204 meters or 669 feet) if true, this is overkill for me, but I like overbuilt tools. The large function buttons are easy to work with gloves on, and the face crystal is tucked in below a deep crown, saving your crystal from most scratches and passing knocks while working.Because this model lacks the atomic clock frequency receiver (and saves you about $200) you have to set it yourself if you travel widely. But changing time or zone is easy, and the hands reset to the new time electronically.Overall, very good watch, Mudmaster reputation and support. I'm happy I got this watch.

This watch is amazing! Looks sleek and has so much functionality! I was mostly interested in the solar power driving it. Can’t wait to take it out for a spin!

Bought this watch for my son graduating Bootcamp this month and this was a great purchase. We did a lot of research on great military watches and decided on this one. It’s all blacked out which will allow him to wear with dress blues and fatigues. G Shock is such a quality product! I can tell this thing is sturdy and built well. Great band and perfect backlight so at night it will still be useful. Thank you!

Have had about 4 or 5 of the Casio G-shocks over the years, so obviously I'm a fan. The watch face is easier to read - still has the classic design and functionality but probably is the sleekest of designs I've encountered. Very satisfied with the watch - and these sellers were great to deal with - great, fast service.

This watch is very good if not great. It is tough as nails and looks amazing I think this is probably the best looking mudmaster in the entire series!, and the least expense. I didn't need all the extra stuff I would never use, I just wanted a watch that I could go out and ride my Polaris RZR and not worry about. This is that watch, it has great night viewing with the double led lights one for the LCD screen and the other for the watch face. The lighting is a main reason for the purchase. I was originally going to get a luminox for the tritium tubes and night viewing (i do a lot of night riding in the desert and mountain trails). But after looking at the luminox and the g shocks side by side it was a no brainer. This g shock uses a black light and the hour hands and markers are all painted with a special paint that lights it up cooler than any watch I have ever seen. I did get the negative display as they look the coolest and the black appearance really makes this watch stand out, but it is harder to read in low light without using the back light.... but that is what the back lights for, in day light no worries . Anyone familar with negative displays already knows,if your not, they area little harder to read.some people love em and some hate em. I think they look way better imho. The only reason this isn't a 5 star is I didn't receive the warranty card all g shocks should have. I know I saw one review here where the person was ranting about the watch being a fake. Well I don't believe mine is, but a warranty card would be nice to help register the watch. I have contacted Casio for some. Assistance as I wasn't able to find the watch on their website to register. They watch is on the website but I am not sure if it is an international model as I cannot find it for sale here is the US. It has the serial number and all the right markings and features. I will update if i find out anything different. I have tested it in the water amd it seems to be fine and functions great. So like I said I dotm think it's a fake, but i will trust but verify. I feel the gsg 100 is currently the best value of mudmasater available, if you don't need the compass, thermometer, altimeter,atomic time or barometer. Non of which I needed so I saved the $50-$300 and got the one feature i truly cared for solar power! Not buying and changing batteries is the thing I needed most. I already lost a watch to a battery change as the gasket was not seated right and they watch took water.... That wont happen here! Any way that is that and my thoughts on this. If your on the fence as I was i hope this helps you make up your mind, just get this model. I purchased the gg1000 first returned it in 3 days. No solar and no led light for the LCD screen, and you cannot use the compass and back light at the same time, useless in the dark! This watch is a beast but your mileage may vary. Good luck!

I paid a lot of money for this watch and after a couple months it just quit working.The seller refuses to refund my money. I believe they are in China.This was a complete rip off..

I was tired of charging my Apple Watch every night and didn’t need 90% of its features. I also hated the fact the Apple Watch was so fragile. I love my mudmaster. It’s durable and with the added benefit of solar, I don’t have to worry about charging it every night. It also doesn’t become obsolete when new software isn’t available.
