I bought a bundle of these. I had jewelry to give Christmas and these boxes are just the right fit. You have to fold them and assemble them, which is very easy and I will tell you these little boxes are beautiful and they’re sturdy and they make a wonderful gift box. You can decorate them however you want and I’ll tell you I’ll definitely buy them again.

To small for mini soap ..

These boxes came up when I was searching for jewelry shipping packaging. They are not meant for that. If you have a jewelry gift that you need a little box for, they are cute, but I don't think I can trust them for shipping. The first photo I am comparing the thickness to a piece of cardstock that I own. That's what they feel like, a little box made from scrapbook cardstock. The size is accurate, though make sure that you understand that when they give you measurements for boxes or things like this, that it is counting the outside measurement, not the usable measurement. I am not crazy about the fact that the box that I picked up has a weird X mark on it, but I think that I can cover it with a sticker or washi tape. The size is good for what I was wanting, and I am going to see if I can maybe use some bubble wrap inside of it and put it in a bubble mailer to protect my pieces enough. Hopefully it'll work for now until I can order some actual sturdy jewelry boxes. I wish that I had realized how thin these were going to be though, I was thinking that they would be comparable to the gift boxes that you get from a department store, but they aren't.
