Worth the purchase!
I have never bought a knife set that came with a pizza cutter placement so this was a nice surprise! Of course it is easy to put the knives into and take out. The knives so far are working just fine. No damage and functions the way it needs to. It looks nice in my kitchen counter next to my wooden bamboo cutting boards. The block is light weight and the knives hold steady. I would recommend this to someone looking for a simple and affordable set of knives to start off with.

Great product!
Very pretty set. I love the color (red). The knife block is strong.

Okay for the price
I looked a long time for a quality looking set for a budget price.I'm thankful that this is an option for the price range. Especially if you are on a budget, this is a good option. I know for the budget, you won't get the top-tier quality. However, when I got it, I wasn't too impressed by the quality. Though I'm thankful for the price, I felt this looked a little too cheap. The block was also far too flimsy. I was worried about removing and replacing the knives because the block "frayed" quite a bit. There were "crumbs" of block over the top that fell off the knife after you pulled it out. So I was very worried about touching the knife at all because I was worried about scratching or damaging the knives themselves. The knives themselves, though, I wasn't too worried about. They were the exact style I was looking for minus the color. I was looked for a more black or black-wash stainless steel like the ones I have now.I returned it the next day so I didn't try it out or take pictures. In the future, though, I'm now more willing to pay more for better quality.

They are decent.
Not bad, but kind of flimsy.

Great Value, Sharpest Knife in the Drawer
I like this knife but it was starting to get a little dull after only a month or two. Initially I gave it a 4 star review because it needed sharpening. However, after a few quick swipes along an emery board, it's know the sharpest knife I own--and clearly worthy of a 5 star review (especially considering the price!).I freeze small blocks of ice that I chop into big chunks to use in my bourbon or rum after dinner (You should try this--it's very satisfying--and no special molds required.) The point of this knife is PERFECT for chopping those blocks of ice up into random but convenient sizes that will fit in my cocktail tumbler. So it does double duty as an ice pick LOL! But seriously, an ice pick would cost me $5 and this knife was $8, so any way you shake it, I'm getting plenty of use out of it for the money spent. And it's still a fantastic chef's knife! Thank you Amazon!

I bought this set in November 2020
and I have used the knives every day. For the price they are incredible. The steak knives have a good feel and they cut well. The paring knives are great and the larger knives do a respectable job of cutting bread and vegetables. If you are looking for something "heavy" in your hand (think Rada) you will be sorely disappointed. But if you need something that will hold up, work well, and look good these are the right answer. Oh, the scissors are junk, they rusted within a month - I threw them out and bought a new pair locally for $4 that I am still using. I didn't buy the set for the scissors, I wanted a set of knives that matched.

No thank you.
These are cute but that's about it. The scissors couldn't cut a single piece of thick bacon, or the package. The knives were not sharp at all, and even after I sharpened them with an actual sharpener they still barely cut through an onion without added force, and the head of cabbage? In your dreams ha. These are so flimsy and useless. I was quite saddened by them. A brand new knife should be able to chop an onion or cabbage in half without half my body weight baring down on it. The handles are very light and don't feel like they'd last long, and not comfortable to grip. They feel very cheap.
