Amazon EssentialsMen's Regular-Fit Long-Sleeve T-Shirt

I can't believe it how everyone wants to bitch and moan. It's too small, it's too big, does not fit around my neck just perfect, it's too heavy, it shrinks. Get a life. This is a $10 shirt that is very high quality by my eye. If you don't like it, go out and spend $60 bucks at Nordstroms.I try and let all of my blue shirts air dry now mostly. Keeps them blue for longer but I did put mine in the dryer and it didn't shrink like everyone else's. Guess that I'm just lucky. That or not just a perma-whiner.Perfect shirt for when the weather cools in CA. I love mine and am going to buy a couple more.

CONS first since this is a 1-star:- Significant shrinkage to the point I can no longer wear the shirt.- Fabric might be a little too heavy for people who run a little warm and are used to lighter T-shirts.PROS:- No elastic at the wrists. (Big plus for me.)- Thick, soft cotton fabric.- Good fit when I received it. <--Beware Prime Wardrobe shoppers.- Sleeves, length, and shoulders were all good. (6'-0", 225 lb, not athletic)I thought this shirt would be at the top of my winter rotation, but after the second wash the sleeves are well above my wrists. Now the shirt barely comes down to my waist. (It doesn't if I raise my arms.) It seems like a nice product, but if I can't wear it, I don't see how I can give it more than 1 star.Full Disclosure: I did not read the care instructions, and I do not intend to. If a T-shirt shrinks this much when I throw it in with the rest of my laundry, it's not the T-shirt for me.

I purchased a patch a while ago that I used to customize this shirt. I'm 5'5 150 for reference and I ordered an XL for an oversized, comfortable, relaxed fit. It fits exactly how I want it to. It's a good length to wear over leggings or just lounge around in.

Just to address a few things I read when checking out the reviews.This shirt is not particularly heavy weight, but it is not as thin as an undergarment. It has a "brushed" feel and is very soft, but not all that heavy. The sleeves have no cuff. This wasn't a problem for me, as I wear them under a sweatshirt.The shirt shrank a full size. I had read that it might, so though I wear an XL, I ordered an XXL. As soon as it got here I washed it and shrank it in the dryer. This might have worked well, but it did not shrink proportionally. I now have a fairly short XXL, very wide but not long enough.At first I thought like other reviewers that wasn't that bad, hey they are only ten bucks. But a little shopping and I found most name brand heavy long sleeve Ts sell for under ten bucks anyhow, very few for more.These aren't a bad shirt, they just aren't as great a deal as they seem at first.

I bought Amazon essential shorts, which are fine. However, I was surprised at these long sleeve T-shirts.I bought XX and they are OK in the shoulders and waist. The length of the shirt that you tuckin, is incredibly short. I have other XX long sleeve T shirts from LL Bean, that are 1/3 longer.Come on Amazon, you can do better-stop being cheap with the amount of material the shirts are made of.

The size fits me correctly, the material is very soft & comfy, and the shirt appears to be well made from 100% cotton. However, this is the only long sleeve tee shirt I've ever seen which has a simple hem on the sleeves instead of an elastic cuff.When I wash my hands or the dishes, I always push the sleeves up, but these sleeves won't stay up because they lack any type of elasticity. I haven't laundered the shirt yet, but I won't be buying any add'l shirts because of the sleeves. A closer inspection of the photo would have shown me the hemmed sleeves, but I didn't know anybody made long sleeve tee shirts without elastic cuffs!

These shirts are really nice. I was torn between these and some Hanes / FOTL long sleeve shirts. I took a chance on these because I have had good luck with Amazon Basics stuff. I am so happy I went with these. The material is really soft, slightly thicker and the size is roomy. I normally take an XL but I don't mind a little extra room and these have it. I am not aware of what manufacturer Amazon uses but these are better than the ones I have had from Target and Kohls. The price point is nice too.

Horrible garment incompetently made. Looks like a 5th grader's sewing project. For example, there is no taper in sleeves from the shoulder to the wrist. Nor is there any elastic at the wrist, so, if you raise your arm, the sleeve will drop to your elbow, or lower. The bodice of the garment is cut in a similar box-like manner. If you still have something of the natural male V shape, you will look in vain to find it. If your stomach has overtaken your chest, do no expect the box shape to flatter you. At best it creates a width problem that may dwarf your paunch. Finally, there is the mystery material the garment is formed from. The label says 100% cotton, but the rubbery fabric does not resemble any cotton I have ever encountered. Perhaps washing would turn the material into a recognizable cotton fabric. I decided to return the item instead of continuing the adventure.

Great value for money, good quality, washed and tumble dried perfectly.

While I find the equivalent shirt in slim fits very well the regular cut of this short is baggy. It's a lot more like a loose or husky fit.Like the slim fit the fabric is a bit heavy. It's going to be absolutely fine to wear in the winter, fall and spring but I'm reserving judgement on how comfortable it'll be during the height of summer.That said the quality is the same as the equivalent slim fit t-shirt so if you like or need a bit of extra space in your t-shirt then I think these would be a great buy since they have a good selection of colours and have an excellent price to quality ratio.

Please wait till you wash these shirts and then review them. They seemed to be great right of the box. I washed them for the first time and since I read (in some reviews) they shrink in the dryer, I air dried them. Unfortunately, L size turned to M. The collars (the ring around the neck) has become loose and the sleeves have become really short! I usually buy Banana Republic shirts but decided to try these since they were cheaper. I might just use them around my house or wear them while sleeping during winter since they are pretty thick. Too shabby to wear outside after the first wash. Pockets are a nice addition but really small. Might just end up returning. Needs lot of improvement.
