If you prefer a licorice that’s heavier on the molasses and lighter on the anise, and you like the texture of a gummy candy, these may be your new go-to. They have what reminds me of a salted caramel flavor— maybe it’s the molasses— but they are very dark and rich. I also like to use them like peppermints to settle my stomach if it feels a little off or queasy. Like I mentioned, they don’t have the texture of a traditional licorice and are more of a gummy candy, but a little more dense. Definitely recommend!

I sent this as a gift and was told it was real good, so I take their word for it. Which it has real licorice which is said to have benefits compared to other licorice which isn't licorice but anise, which health benefits of anise???? Although anise is supposed to be a good fish attractant.

This licorice is very fresh and great for those of us who are allergic to gluten!! It was so good to find a gluten free product that meet my expectations!!

I discovered Beagles a few years ago and they are my favorite licorice. Neither too sweet or salty, they are the right flavor balance for me.I've been buying them locally for about 40 cents a package less locally, but that store is closed due to the Covid-19 restrictions,

First time I've ordered this product. I'd like to think I'm a black licorice expert ordering most my black licorice from Europe (mostly from Holland). I'm very impressed with the flavor and freshness of this product. I will be ordering this again

This is heaven for licorice lovers. The flavor is perfect not too strong, but no mistaking the black licorice flavor. Chewy but not too sticky. So happy I found it.

I prefer soft salty licorice from Holland, but that is difficult to get and costly when you find it. These are tasty , though the bags are small. Would purchase again
