Having indoor cats I have to monitor their weight all the time, I needed a high quality food with low fats and chose this one, They were on Arden Grange chicken before but I noticed a couple of them getting a bit chubby, the Light has, worked wonders, my fattest boy is now losing the weight and its maintaining the others weight nicely whilst also keeping them healthy and happy, Love Arden Grange, been around for years and always kept their quality, unlike some.

My cat started to be slightly overweight. He has access to granules all day long so figured out, it will be best to swap them for some with less calories. He loves these granules and eats them daily. Not just him but also stray cats on the street love to munch on these. Good price on them. Using them for around a year and so far my cat is very healthy with a nice coat.

Good quality food, one of our cats is very fussy but she loves this stuff. Only reason it's not 5* is that the packs don't always seal very well, it breaks off and can be a bit annoying.

ARRIVED ON TIME AND CAT LIKES IT

I am so sorry to be negative about this brand, I have fed my cats all their lives on Arden grange. Because they are mainly house cats they were getting a little fat so I thought I would swap to the light version. My Bengal who is a pig in a cat suit still cleaned the bowl without tasting much of what she was eating. That’s the norm. but my poor gentle Snowshoe who is also a life long Arden grange fan was so ill. Even though I did the introduction over the course of 10 day but had to stop because It did not agree with his system. I’m not blaming the product as such, it was just not for him. Not sure why it effected him so badly. Sorry I would not buy again and unfortunately if I can’t keep their weight down on the usual red bag. I may have to change brands.

My cat, Russ is over 10 years old, and he is a really fussy eater, always having had 2 pouches of wet food a day, and expensive dry food. He is naturally a very large domestic cat. Last year, Russ started limping, and was obviously in pain when he walked. I took him to the vet, who said that he was overweight, and had arthritis. Russ was prescribed anti-inflammatory medicine, and I was told I needed to put him on a diet. I ordered this cat food, and joked at the time that Russ's expression on tasting it for the first time would probably be like the cat on the packaging (who looks a bit shocked!) As it happened, he seemed to love it at least as much as his previous dry food (not sure if I'm allowed to say the brand but the TV ad said, "I am an **** cat!") A 4kg bag lasts at least 4 months (supplementing two pouches of wet food per day together with always available water). Russ only needed to be on the medicine for about three weeks (about 9 months ago) but since recovery, he's been bounding about like a cat less than half his age, and at his last annual check-up, the vet was impressed with Russ's weight loss. Whilst I would never scrimp on Russ's food just to save money (I bought this for his health), at a maximum £5 per month, it's very inexpensive. As you can see from the photo (with the new bag of food I've just ordered) Russ is a handsome lad for a 10-year-old feline! The only downside is that now Russ is so much fitter, he's regained his ability to bring in 'presents' for me (dead mice!)

I have been told by the vet that my cat needs to lose some weight. She is 13 and her whole life has only eaten the cheaper brands of cat biscuits (despite being offered every healthy alternative under the sun over the years, wet and dry). A while back I tried her on some of the expensive "better quality" biscuits, but she turned her nose up every time and refused to eat them. Now, since the vet's comments, I decided to once again waste my money and go for the good stuff, with the added disincentive (to my cat) of being lower calorie also. This one arrived today and so far she has been offered it twice and has eaten it all. It may be a sort of beginner's luck, but I can only have faith and remain hopeful. So five stars, so far.Update: My cat continued to eat every morsel of this food at every meal and finished the 400g packet. I had also bought Meowing Heads Fat Cat Slim 1.5kg to try, so have now begun this and she does not like it - usual story. So I'm now about to buy a large bag of Arden Grange Light, confident that this is food that she likes and hopefully will lose a bit of weight on at the same time. Now that it seems I have finally found "the one", I will not be looking elsewhere again, happy that my cat enjoys her meals and I am not throwing my money in the bin.

Pues es perfecto para gatos que tengan problemas alérgicos de piel, es una raza especial sin pelo, y desde que lo toma esta genial 😃

Le gusta mucho el precio y entrega bien pero quizás algo menos de patata sería más saludable.

Estábamos muy contentos con la compra de este producto. Pero creemos que se han pasado, teniamos suscripción mensual y hemos pasado en 1 año de 22€ a querer cobrarnos 35€ por el mismo producto. Abusivo y sin información.
