Finally got it to work
After a bit of frustration at it not working, and no English instructions to reference, I got this to work. It is bright but it is cheap looking but OK for the price! Should come in handy when traveling and do not wish to bother others too much.

It's cheap. It's slim. It came with a battery. It works. I'd buy again.
