There are lots of similar books, but this diet worked quickly to fix a family member's intestinal woes. The book is aimed at people who have depression or anxiety, but it really applies to any problem created by an unbalanced intestinal microbe community. We are what we eat, and this book points the way to healthy eating and a healthy gut. Rather than fad, this is science-based, and is as good as current knowledge allows. The book is best used in conjunction with having your intestinal microbiome analyzed by a company such as ubiome, and the diet may need to be modified if you suffer from a lot of food allergies.

Book explains good nutritional information.
Excellent book! Explains how our Microbiome works. Also explains the difference between good & bad bacteria in our gut. Bad bacteria can cause a lot of different diseases. Good nutrition and certain foods can keep you healthy!

Too much repetition
Too much repetition, the book could be half its size and no one would notice. There are some good points in it, but I would appreciate a book which mentions everything only once....

A great source of information
I have hypothyroidism and suffer from chronic joint pain and fatigue. I have read many books on health and thyroid condition, but this book has been the best source of information for me, giving me hope and detailed instructions on how to improve my condition through a change in diet and testing.
