I use these when baking bread to dust surfaces and proofing baskets with a light coating of flour, and they work great for this! I think the weave may be a little too open for powdered sugar, but YMMV. I appreciate the plastic covers for keeping dust and grease out when they aren't in use - they're a snug fit but not too difficult to snap off.

They worked so well for semolina (for the pizza peel) and flour (for the bread board) that I got a second set for powdered sugar and for flouring chicken before cooking. The plastic cap did not appear to be sufficient to keep out pantry moths and I add a layer of wax paper, but with the pantry moths exterminated, the cap seems to work fine by itself.

The plastic caps are very flimsy and had cracks out of the box but I don't care enough to return it.They weigh 54g each. Decent quality but don't compare with a high grade stainless steel. I will update after use

Worked as I wanted cover kept moisture out in a very moist environment may not work the same for you but for me I was happy

I like the small sizes of these, prefect for me to have all purpose flour and rice flour in each. Helps with sourdough prepping. The plastic lids dont snap or screw in place, easy to fall off. When you're shaking the flour out, the flour gets "caked" and you have to put container in upright position so that flour doesn't clog the holes, minor issue but can be annoying. Overall, I'm ok with it.

These are really very well made and sturdy. I use them for cinnamon and sugar mixture for waffles and the other for powdered sugar for pizzelles. Work great.

These are perfect for cocoa and powdered sugar, lids preserve excess and prevent waste. Much easier to clean than the traditional "flour sifter".
