Wonderart Lab Puppies Latch Hook Kit, 24" X 34"

This is a beautiful rug. I just finished it, not too long ago. I am very excited to put it in my kitchen.There are a few cons: The printed pattern on the grid was crooked and off. I just followed the diagram on the directions and got the job done perfectly. I also had to ask my grandmother what to do to completely finish it as it said nothing on the directions about after you are done latch-hooking.TIP: It is very difficult to keep track of all the yarn pieces with a toddler. I managed though.

I bought this for the 9-year-old boy I babysit. He likes weaving, so I figured this would be a nice gift because the end result is a picture rather than a pattern like the things he weaves. I see that other people have mentioned the strings not being separated by color, but I don’t see the big deal. The colors are easily differentiated. If you buy this for a child, he or she may need assistance figuring out which color is next, but the chart isn’t hard to follow. I’m giving four stars just because the yarn isn’t as soft as I’d like, but what can you expect... it’s yarn lol. I think the product is great for the price. Note that there will be a border of material with no yarn in those spaces. It needs to be trimmed when you actually finish the product. I might get one for myself after helping him with his! Also, I think the tiger is a good picture for the majority of people. When looking for a latch hook kit, there were a lot of dumb pictures that I couldn’t imagine anyone wanting. A bengal tiger is cool though.

The product is fine.However the product description says the canvas is stamped. The canvas is not color coded stamped as some may think. It is just stamped with blue squares to make counting easier when using the chart.(see pic) It has come to my attention that the manufacture of all the popular latch hook kits stopped stamping the canvas with the color illustration about 2 years ago. If someone happens to have a color coded stamped canvas its from older stock. So a kit this size would not be for a beginner nor for someone with learning disabilities. I purchased this for a person with learning disabilities who enjoys the latched hook with the color coded stamped canvas. Because of her disability she is unable to follow the chart. I wish someone could get the message to the manufacture that not everyone is able to follow the chart.

Not long ago, I rated the Wonderart Caron Lion kit & like it so well that I purchased the Country Harvest, White Tiger & Bird of Paradise kits also. All were Wonderart Caron kits & arrived in s very timely manner through Amazon.com! I have not one thing bad to say about these finished 4 rugs, they look amazing!

misleading description...the design is not printed on canvas....I will never use it....the design pattern is impossible to read...there's hardly any color variation on pattern....the colors all blend together on the pattern....I had opened it so I couldn't return

This is very large. My 10 year old daughter loves it. Be sure to buy the "latch hook". The latching material piece is not color coded to correspond with the yarn, but the included pattern is full color and very easy to follow. Great deal.

New and cute design allYarn included, but the chart is so small it is very hard to see and follow without a magnifying glass. A fun and easy project if it only had larger print to match the color characters.

This rug kit is as described and it is exactly what one should expect at this price point. The yarn is definitely not high quality and one should not expect to actually walk on it as a rug because I would expect it would mat quickly. Note that the item did not come with a latch hook ... it had to be purchased separately. Overall, the product was fine for a hobby/project for my teen daughter but, for those who actually wanted to make a true rug, I would select something else as this is "thin" and acrylic, not wool.

This a lovely project for the winter months . I looked at this from severel sites and this was the cheapest by far . It arrived promptly and I am highly satisfied.
