convenient purchase. for such low priced products like TV remotes, Amazon makes lot of sense. However, for an actual TV, I might go elsewhere who is more relaible.

My new remote
The new remote has all the features of the original in fact better in the sense it is broader and shorter to accommodate bolder numbers horizontally. The plus minus signs for volume control are also bigger and the buttons are well raised and with proper space for easy navigation. The pricing is appropriate

Works as expected
The remote control is a perfect replacement for the current one. It works without any issues on Panasonic tv. It is smaller than the original one. All functionalities are retained from the original one.

The Viera Tools button does not work. Home screen cannot be changed
The original Remote had a button for Apps and Home. It was possible to play Apps and media player with it and also switch to a different Home screen. This remote cannot be used for Apps or Home screen. It has the same Menu, but some functionality is lost. It is good value for money since otherwise we would have had to buy a new TV once remote stopped working.
