Levit8 - The flat folding portable standing desk,Sesame,Large

This review is for the size small in periwinkle. I'm going to use this on an airplane (exit row) for an International Flight but with the height I think it's also suitable for a regular Economy row. It is sturdy enough for my feet and actually quite comfortable with the natural dip inside. Also, it is very portable and lightweight.The instructions provided are quite vague and the video is too fast to fully grasp the concept of twisting. I was able to easily assemble it with the help of comments from another reviewer and now it's a breeze.The product is sturdy - some of the inner fabric layer is bubbling slightly but the aesthetics aren't my main purpose of buying. Also the color is much less harsh in person, a softer charcoal & purple than in the picture, closer to what they feature in the video.

I needed a portable sit/stand laptop riser to break up the extended hours of sitting involved in an upcoming work spree. After researching MANY, many options, I chose this origami thing, and am so glad I did.Tried out a work friend's Nulaxy stand, which he loves. Unlike the Nulaxy, this standing desk from Levit8 is truly lightweight, aesthetically pleasing, and does not wiggle AT ALL when I type on a laptop sitting on top of it.I'm 5'6" and ordered the Large, the recommended size. Thanks to another reviewer, I noted that the XL is not returnable, but the L is, so it was a no brainer to start with the L, which brings my laptop just about to chest height (lower sternum) when I am standing at my desk at home.Don't worry--it's not difficult to figure out how to unfold. The last step took me a minute to master, but the stand itself wants to move into formation.

This served my needs perfectly. I'm 5'2" and bought the S version, which lifts my laptop from my desk to a level where my arms are bent 90 degrees at the elbow. I can watch and type very comfortably, even if it's a little low --the screen is not at eye level. I needed something portable, inexpensive, sturdy enough, and this does exactly that. You might find when you set your laptop on the opened stand that it's a little crooked. Turn the stand or your laptop 90 degrees, and it might fix the wobbly/uneven problem. Sometimes one side just doesn't quite sit level, but turning the stand fixes it for me. If I were in need of a full-time standing desk, this wouldn't be it, but for my needs --just to get up off the chair every so often to type-- it's great.

I had to watch 3 videos on how to open it, but once it's broken it works great! Very lightweight and it's at a perfect height for me (I'm 5'4"). Feels solid and sturdy. I love it!

Definitely a cool item. Great for presentations and stand travel desk. It folds flat so it is easy to pack. I did buy it to use at home and soon found out that it is not an everyday desk - if you are taking notes or need to look at notes, there is no room for that. Completely my fault for not thinking through my needs. But I really think it is very useful - sturdy and easy to use. I am using it for presentations.

Having used this for a few weeks I absolutely love it. When a long day of coding has my bottom sore I can go from sitting to standing in just a few seconds. So far the Levir8 is holding up nicely and that even includes a few rounds with my 2 year old. I'm 5' 10" and went with the large. It puts the laptop right where I want it and also fits in my laptop bag but only barely. It did take about 15 minutes to figure out how to fold it the first time but just keep re-watching the vides and you will eventually get it. It only takes a few seconds once you've got it. This is not a substitute for a true standing desk though, just because when the keyboard is the right height the monitor is too low. Until someone invents a laptop with a raising and lowering monitor this is the best you will get though. If you are on the road or need to stand occasionally this is the product for you.

This is a great idea for people working from home , but has some flaws. The last step was difficult to get it working and because of this, I wanted it to stay put together but there It takes up space when not in use. Also, this is not very functional if you are using a mouse. I found that this is best useful when my camera was off and I didn’t require typing or use of mouse.

The quality of the materials is sturdy and well constructed. I spent about 15 minutes getting a hang of how to set up and take down the item. The instructions are very bland and doesn't provide much direction which is why so many people have returned their product. Following the company's instructions, here are the steps with my added commentary in parenthesis:Step 1: (Remove item from packaging)Step 2: Open (Open the item so there are 2 rectangular panels with your hands on the left and right side, thumbs facing you)Step 3: Cross (Push the two panels towards each other to create an "X" shape)Step 4: Twist (Per my photos, the left hand should have 4 fingers on the outside slightly below the crease. The right hand should have your thumb slightly below the crease but higher up on the triangle. Push both side together, using the middle finger on the left hand and the thumb on your right hand. If you have long nails, be careful the first few times you do this as the material is harder to push together and "snaps" and you might break off a finger nail like I did on my left middle finger)I travel often and need to take down the item daily and set it up again the next day, I've used it a week without any issues. I would buy again and happily gift it to friends who need an eye-level platform.

Is very lightweight and folds completely flat, so is great for travel. I placed several textbooks on it to test its strength and it holds many times its weight, so is more than enough for holding a laptop. Accomplishing the third/final folding step can be tricky, though.

An excellent bit of kit. In my case I work from 5 different bases and could never hope to have a standing desk at all of them. My Levit8 fits in my backpack and goes with me everywhere.Two of my colleagues have taken one look at me and purchased their own and now we’re a cadre of smug looking office workers whose backs don’t hurt.

I am really enjoying using the Levit8. It is sturdy enough to take the weight of another surface on which to place the laptop for space to use the mouse (my preference). The trick is to use the grooves to transform the flat device to standing. It is light enough to move when the laptop is removed so very easy to move to sitting. Packs away so unobtrusively. As I'm 160 cm (~5' 3") the Small version is the correct size. Thank you.
