I was very pleased with this purchase. The lamp is a little lighter than I expected but seems sturdy enough to handle the stained glass lampshade we are using instead of the lampshade it came with (this was always the plan). A warning on the packaging - it is extremely well packaged so there could be absolutely no chance of damage in transit, but you will want to unpackage the lamp outside as the styrofoam breaks into a million, zillion little balls that you will spend forever finding and getting rid of, lol. I also expected the bronze color to be a little lighter and redder. But the lamp is beautiful and exactly what I wanted.

In my search for a replacement bedside lamp at our rental cabin, I began to wonder if there were any lamps that would fulfill what I had in mind for less than an astronomical price. The old lamp was a small, black miner's lamp, and I wanted something similar.I was about to give up when I somehow stumbled upon this one. I was giddy to find one at any price, and while the price was more than I'd planned to spend, by then it didn't matter so much.I didn't bother paying attention to the specs; it's too large for the bedside table, but I was able to play musical lamps with minimal difficulty.I love the lamp and would definitely check out Lamps Plus if/when another lamp search becomes necessary!

This lamp is a beautiful color and style. Assembly was very easy with the included instructions. It can take a bulb up to 100 watts, which is nice and bright even with the tan shade.

Bought two of these lights love them. One came with a broke bulb. Seller replied right away and sent a new one. Middle light I leave on for a night light.

I’ll contact the manufacturer directly, but the lamp arrived in “used” condition. The base is slightly crooked as others have written, and the little black knob for the on/off interrupter is completely missing. I have checked everywhere - it’s not there. So I’ll have to go and buy one of those too. For the price I paid, I’m not particularly impressed but I will keep it. I was also expecting the unit to be heavier in weight.
