GE Kinsey 44" White LED Indoor Ceiling Fan with SkyPlug Technology for Instant Plug and Play Mounting

I've done a few ceiling fan installs but this is the first fan I've seen that had a terrible clicking sound when turned on. Even the low setting was unbearable and we couldn't get to sleep. Had a professional come over to try and fix it with me but after nearly 4 hours of taking it apart and trying different things, it's even worse now.

I liked the appearance of this ceiling fan. It has a very stylish look. Unfortunately the SkyReceptacle requires more depth in the ceiling box than was available in the saddle type ceiling box that is in my ceiling. The saddle type of box was necessary because the box has to fit under a ceiling joist. Regrettably I am returning it. I wish that I had been able to know this before purchasing it. None of the questions addressed this issue.

Simple, clean, modern looking fan. I didn't install personally so I can't attest to that, but it is quiet and smooth running. Only con would be the light. It is a very blue/cool light and personally I am not a "fan" of it. Kind of looks very 'clinical' lighting-wise. But, I only need the fan and am not using the light, so that is fine by me. But if you are going to be using the light, just note that it is a bit of an odd color for a room light...

Very happy with this fan. It's low profile, quiet and was super easy to install, even in our older house which didn't have a dedicated ground line. One we used the included balancing weights it is completely silent and has zero wobble. Will be purchasing another for another room. Has been up and running for 1 month.

It looks great, but I can't really review how the fan works, because it doesn't. Had it installed by an electrician who was here doing other things for us and the remote does not work so my husband left a message with customer service who never bothered to return the call. We called again 3 days later and the rep wanted my husband to uninstall it so see the manufacture date. Apparently, there is a known issue and "parts: will be shipped.

This fan went in easily (my handyman did it) it moves air in my husband's small (10 X 12) office. The light is okay but it's not that bright. Other than that it is a nice fan but even in a small room you will need other task and maybe even more general lighting. We plan to install some high hats or can lights in the future to make up for the deficit in light. It's also very quiet.

This unit has a 4000K color temperature which is NOT mentioned in the description. I failed to notice until the unit was installed so I can hardly return it. The fan itself is very nice and just what I wanted so Imay have to buy a second from another seller to get the 3000k bulb so my room doesn't feel like a refrigerator. BE WARNED!!

The instructions were mediocre. The fan installation is Not as simple as older models.
