The wise front-line soldier's practice of field-marking one's blood-group on the boot-heel (typically with duct-tape and felt-marker, ) inspired this Hazard 4(R) exclusive blood-type plaque. The 3-d injection-molded rubber marker is far more durable than the traditional solution since it cannot be wiped off, scratched-off, or dissolved. A more professional choice in appearance, it more importantly prevents misreading (like B+ becoming B- after some trail-wear). It allows multiple fast-mounting methods. Weave them into boot laces, either horizontally, vertically or diagonally (slotted holes allow for different lace-hole spacings). Wear them like/with dog-tags or on a lanyard around the neck. Use para cord to make them into a bracelet. Sew them onto clothing/gear or hook & loop backing using the perimeter sewing-trench. Or clip them anywhere, since they are sold with a durable black aluminum carabiner. They come in sets of two on one carabiner in a variety of subdued military colors and feature a raised guilloche pattern background to break up mud/ice. Then can even be screwed, riveted, grommeted, or nailed onto hard surfaces such as plastic cases, wooden crates, etc. to mark personal gear or paramedic's blood supply. Also available in Glow-in-the-dark. Specify blood-type when buying.

Handy for quick reference
Shoe/boot tag is useful for quick identification of blood type. Soft plastic lets tag flex easy with footwear, but odd eye distance causes tag to either bunch or stretch. Easy to read. Easy to install.

Knowing is most of the battle.
I ordered these blood-type tags for my IFAK (individual first-aid kit) that I've put together for work (I'm a cop) - with a little effort, I routed one of the pull cords on the IFAK zipper through the eyelets of the tag. If I get shot (heaven forbid) or I'm otherwise rendered unresponsive, I want the other first-responders I'm with to be able to see what my blood type is without needing to ask me. Studies show that most LEO's die from blood loss (massive hemorrhage). I have items in my IFAK to stop the bleeding, however, getting a timely transfusion may save my life some day. In that case, knowing my blood type is most of the battle.I would have given this product 5-stars, however, the reverse side of the tag is exceptionally shiny - I would have preferred a subdued finish. This detail may seem trivial to some, but a little extra attention there would have really impressed me.Stay safe out there.

I always try to
“B Positive” Get it? I crack myself up. Anyway, they’re nice little PVC tags. They look really cool. They came in a ginormous box for some bizarre reason. I honestly don’t know what to say. Got a hot looking little carabiner to hook it onto my pack. Actually, two little carabiners would have been better since I only plan to put one tag on each pack. But that’s ok I have lots of carabiners. You can weave them into your boot laces or if you’re really creative, into a paracord bracelet. Who knows, might save your life one day. Makes it worth the cash easy when you look at it that way, huh?I recommend heartily. Thanks for reading

Yup, love it.
When I first saw these, I knew I had to have them. I'm not sure exactly why, but I just did.I'm not military or tactical but appreciate those types of things. They are usually of better quality and are able to withstand more abuse than ordinary gear. I live in the Rockies of Montana, and just love the outdoors, and I always have a kit with me. This was a sweet addition to my pack. Which is a Maxpedition Remora Gear Slinger. It mounts perfectly to the shock cord section of the bag under or above the velcro area.I have a spare, which I have available for another pack. Love it.These are the coolest blood type markers by far. Search around and you'll end up coming back to these.

I really wanted to be able to give these 5 stars, but...
I really want to like these, but the slide around and bow up when laced up in the various areas I tried on my boots. Probably would work better with some sort of reinforcing grommets on the end in order to use them the way they are described to be used. All-in-all, I do love the idea and initial design.
