Scandvik E360 Engine Room Light - 12V - Cool White

These lights are very bright and work well. I am replacing engine room dome lights with these. The only issue is that the back is basically flush and any butt splice connections must be pushed into the hole to the ship's wiring. I am building 3/4 inch standoffs from wood with a hole large enough to contain the wiring splices. The old dome lights didn't have this issue as the rear of the light formed a cavity to hide wiring when mounted to the ceiling.

Bright but pricey.

I spent an hour and a half wiring this up, heat shrink etc. It worked for about a hour then pooched

I have six of these in my engine room. They do an excellent job, but they are pricey.

Installed 6 to illuminate my 16 X 16 engine room, wow what a difference! Great light ... very bright...have to wear sunglasses when I go below to change oil or check on gear.
