It really amazed me how well it works.
Not only does it move smoothly, but when I tried to be critical of this purchase, it proved me wrong. I used it in our back yard with our dogs. Easily pulled out dozens of nails that i never saw. I wish the release mechanism was larger, but it was far better than expected. Strongly recommended around fire pits and contruction areas.

Totally worth it
Had nails and screws on the ground around the house from roofing work completed. Attached this magnet to a painting pole we already had.Pros picked up many many nails and screws in the grass and mulch and a good amount my old eyes didn’t even see. Saved my back as I stood and swepted the area while hearing the click click of nails getting picked up by the magnet. Saved so much time.Cons the plastic cover was hard to put back on so once I got it back on to the magnet, I left it on and pulled the nails and screws off manually. The magnet is small so I had to go over the general area multiple times but for a one time use I did not want to spend more money buying the larger magnet.Besides the plastic cover being difficult to put back on I am glad I bought this. It made a tedious job so much easier and faster.

Magnet is not that strong
The magnet is much smaller than we expected and the hood just gets in the way.

Well Made, Functional and Customer Service is Excellent.
The company resolved a minor issue I had FAST! I'm using the tools to clean up roofing nails around my property and the street. A recent hail storm caused many roofs to get replaced. Flat tires all over town, but this tool saved my vehicle and lawn equipment tires even after the contractors cleaned up after themselves.

Not strong enough
I bought it to pick up metal debris, nails, nuts etc in a shop.The wide bar is not strong enough to pick these things fast. You have to go slow back and forth in order to collect them, and sometimes still doesn't.The small round magnet is stronger, but the debris will attach only to the sides, and it won't pick up things that falls inside holes or cracks in the floor.The design is good, but the magnets needs to be stronger.I wouldn't recommend this one!
