made a diy moving bed pond filter from 55 gallon barrel received this media today at first I was very disappointed thought I wasted my money media would not boil it was a thick layer on top of water and three inches out of the water had to work the bubbles out of the media closed the lid and turned on the air pump pondmaster ap-100 an hour later checked on it expected poor results was shocked the media was boiling crazy good not one piece not circulating I ordered more today. best media at the best price I could find after a month or so of research. very small about the diameter of a soda straw.

Small bouyant pieces. I'm using it in 20gals of water and it seems like I could use more.

This shipment arrived in a nice retail box which was tightly packed with 100% UTM1. No wasted packing materials or space and enough media for all current and future projects.

purchased 1 cubic feet months back, worked so well with the Tilapia RAS system, purchased 10 cubic feet more, takes time to get the bio moving, but well worth it..

Don't care about these, as they were for a former co-worker. I don't have a pond - I have a damn lake.
