Tate and Lyle Fairtrade Caster Sugar Drum 3 kg

This is the first time I have bought caster sugar on line as the supermarkets I buy from online have been out of stock for ages. First of all the value is incredible c£4 for 3kg! This will last me for a while. For those who bake often this is perfect. Second, it comes in a nice sturdy drum / container so it will keep fresh for a long time. Third, I was very pleased with the delivery time as it arrived sooner than I expected. So thanks and hats off to Amazon and the suppliers. 🙂👍👋

When I ordered this product it was temporarily out of stock and was told i would get notification of delivery.The seller certainly kept their word, i was expecting a longer wait but it was still quite quick and i was updated along the way.Love the packaging as its good for storage, and now I can do some baking seeing as the world has gone mad for the basics these days. Sharing this with family members too so the size is perfect, will use again in the near future.

purchased this to make elderflower cordial as you seem to need a shed load of sugar. given the size i was expecting the price to be much cheaper than the equivalent cost of a 1kg bag but it wasn't so that was disappointing but on the plus side it was in stock when most places seemed not to have any. The box it came in was strong should any sugar escape out of the inner plastic bag

Bought it as I got panic during the lockdown. Good quality. What I don’t like is the lid. Too loose so my cheeky little one can easily open it and mess with the sugar. It has to be hidden on the top of the cupboards which makes it less approachable. Anyway, now I have to worry about when I can finish this big pack.

Couldn't get any caster sugar from the supermarket so opted for this large drum. It's sturdy and big, but not too big to store in a kitchen cupboard. The lid fits snugly and there's a strong handle for carrying. The price was great for 3kg and the bonus is that it's refillable, which will also work out cheaper.

At the price I did question if there was actually sugar in the tub. Then I realised the tub is splash proof and not actually a tin.The product is the top quality product you'd expect from this brand.However I do believe if you look after it you could refill a few times.Wish the normal sugar one was as well priced. Would recommend and buy again.

I bought this during the time of the pandemic and was difficult to find in any of the supermarkets.Used in baking and can even grind further to make icing sugar.

I know it's 3kg of sugar but it really was bigger than I expected it to be but just what I needed during the shortage of all the baking ingredients in the shops. Pretty sterdy box, when it's all gona I think I might just re fill it.
