No problems with this lamp at all.

Came with no instructions and it doesn’t screw on. Is there online instructions anywhere? I wonder if I have missing parts, it doesn’t come together

Our assembly was pretty easy. The poles screw into each other and then the power cord is attached. You can always request assembly instructions through your Returns and Orders page.

Walmart's website says the Embrace is compatible with a wall switch. Amazon's says no. Are there different models?

We have this connected to Google smart plug and works great. Not sure how you would connect to a wall switch unless you plugged it onto an outlet that is controlled by a wall switch.
