If you print a lot do not buy this printer. I wish someone would of warned me.
Update, 1 week after the 1 year warranty, it gets paper jams ... this printer is a lemon. I call lexmark (after spending 10k in ink over the past year), and they tell me to "fix it myself" ... printer costs 2300.00 ... and you tell me after 1 year to fix it myself... what a hunk of junk STAY FAR AWAY DO NOT BUY , this is the only real review on here, the others are from the company.

Money pit. You have been warned.
After purchasing this printer, out of the box it was throwing a "Bor Motor" error. From what I gathered reading online, the motor fails to rev up when the printer kicks on so it completely refuses to print. Called Lexmark and was told I need a service contract on file with them for any sort of support - forget the standard 1 year warranty that most devices come with - that seemingly doesn't apply. To date, this is still randomly an issue. Fast forward a couple of months and the printer randomly stopped connecting to the network. After trying to get support to help me and quickly discovering the only language they speak is USD, I hit google and found out how to run a network cable from the cable modem/router almost 100 feet to the printer and updated it manually over a wired connection. Fast forward to today and now the printer is showing a blue screen and a firmware 900 error and refuses to do anything. Mind you I haven't printed anything in weeks so it's literally sitting there and the firmware just went bad. After some more Googling, it' looking like I'm going to have to download and load the firmware onto a USB and then onto the printer manually and if that doesn't work, it's being suggested it's a bad hard drive or board. There's a reason why there's so many Lexmark technicians out there -- these printers are made to break and they don't disappoint when it comes to that. Previously had an HP and never once had a problem with it. I couldn't leave well enough alone and decide to "upgrade" to this one for the higher resolution printer and scanner and it's been the absolute worst decision ever. I'm starting to see why companies like FedEx, Office Depot and Staples DON'T use Lexmarks. If you need reliability and uptime, this is not for you.

Paper Jams and Printer becomes worthless
After 1 year and 4 months this printer decided to stop exiting paper into the top hopper. Whereas, the paper begins to exit and 3 inches into the top hopper the entire printer just shuts down and the paper becomes jammed. Called Lexmark and they said my printer was covered for parts but not on-site service. They sent me all kinds of parts, a power supply, new fuser, a new paper size switch and a new mother board. None of these fixed the issue and by the way I had to install these myself. On their website it states I can buy an extended warranty during my initial warranty period however I have as of yet been able to purchase the warranty as they keep dodging the cost. Subsequently, They sent me a quote to fix the printer at $1499. This quote was ridiculous. Totally stay away from this printer!

Network Nightmare
I have spent probably 35-40ish hours (including one 7-hour day) with Lexmark customer support and they have been unable to troubleshoot this POS. They attempted to disclaim my warranty claim by giving me a line of BS until I explained to them that I am a lawyer. They are sending a replacement to be installed. It took 20 months to finally get a replacement. My biggest complaint is that each call (approximately 20-25) required educating their technicians on the history because evidently they are not trained to reference prior service tickets. Buyer beware and keep your local trial lawyer on stand-by.
