I bought one of these by "mistake" 4 years ago, and then found the "right" brand (psst, F-e-l-c-o) . You know what, those work OK, but I liked my original pair so much and they were so much smoother, I finally bought another pair. They also work great. Won't mess with other brands.

I rated "easy to lock" five stars because every time I use it, the screw will loosen up holding the lock mechanism and it will lock itself closed. Just have to retighten the screw. Liquid thread lock on the screw threads, would probably take care of this issue.

I would definitely recommend this product! I have used the $20 pruners before and these are a night and day difference! Dont waste your time with the others. You can feel the difference as soon as you hold them and they are super sharp!! Im very happy with this purchase!

These are awesome pruning shears. I have really enjoyed using them in my backyard garden since receiving them. Here's some thoughts:Pros- Value. Although slightly more pricey than other cheaply-made pruners, the quality of these shears can be seen and felt while using. I feel these were very reasonably priced for the quality that you get. I also know how incredible SwissCut Pro tools are. My dad’s lawn care business has used them for years. In fact, I bet I could still find some old pairs in his garage.- Sharp! These things are incredibly sharp. I also found that when trimming thick branches, they cut clean through and don't tend to wobble sideways making tearing cuts like some other cheap shears I've used.- Ergonomic. The grips on the handles don't bite into your hands like pruners other handles can tend to do. They are really comfortable.Cons:Nothing to report for now.Overall, these are fantastic pruning shears. I have really put them through the test in my garden and still remain sharp, with no problems. They cut great and I look forward to using them for a long time.

Work well, but the lock latch is loose and keep slipping so scissors open when not expected. Just a bit annoying to have to move the latch too frequently.

Terrific! I ordered these for my husband and he loves them. Happy to report that they also fit my smaller hand really nicely. They are well-made and still light enough to prevent hand fatigue.I highly recommend them!

Thought it was good quality but broke second time using. Pricy for something can’t use any more and can’t return

So far so good! These little pruners do a great job. And they’re small enough where I can carry them in my pocket while walking around the yard.
