While these were sufficient for the one flight that I needed them for, the spill proof lips pop off too easily. Great to be able to clean them but both dogs had knocked theirs off during transit and therefore much of their water had ended up in their crates.

On a 4-day trip across the US this spring in the van, wanted to ensure my cat's 36" wire cage stayed clean and dry. Didn't want to worry that her drinking water would spill into the cage, making a mess to clean up. There was no spillage at all, even on rough, bumpy roads (kept it to less than 3/4 full just in case). Used the other one for her food. Fit securely between the wires of the cage and had no problems with them falling or being bumped off by the cat.

I was impressed by how well the spill-proof lip worked. Unfortunately, it pops off easily enough that the dogs just remove it when they're bored. The upside is that it makes it a lot of easier to clean. Clicks into standard kennels great, and easy to remove for humans.

We had to travel for 12 hours with our cat in a kennel so bought two of these for her. They worked really well for food and water. They have a lip around the top that keeps water from splashing over when you are on rough roads and she could easily get access whenever she needed to. Don't fill it before attaching it to the kennel first. That seems logical, but having never used a kennel before, I made that mistake. Great product and a great price.

I was really impressed with how nice these were. Held nicely to the wire door of the cage. Much better than the fish that came with the kennel. Our dog is big and this dish holds more.

Nice but overpriced. Couldn't find 'em cheaper though. I hate the ones that come with crates or with shipping kits--useless. I fill and freeze overnight when I have to ship a puppy.

I love the concept and in theory it would be great. However, the plastic hooks are very poorly made. I bought two bowls for my dog's crate for airline travel. The plastic hooks snapped the first time I put the bowls on the wire. Snapped completely off, never had a chance to use the bowls. I ordered metal bolt on version instead. I like the long rectangle design as it wouldn't protrude into the crate too much and the see through material to see water levels. However, another company should make this idea with more durable and secure materials.
