Frontier Herb Nutmeg Whole Hand Sorted, 1.8 Ounce

This grates beautifully on a microplane and immediately fills my kitchen with the scent only nutmeg has... it's a beautiful smell and a fantastic flavor. SOmehow I made a sourdough banana bread the other day and forgot to add this nutmeg! It's absence was extremely evident. I always add to sweet custards, breads and cookies but also it goes into my bechamel sauce! I make a cream based tortellini dish that I add this to as well. It might not be in a recipe but don't let that that stop you. Also, if you are using tinned ground nutmeg you are in for a fantastic surprise! There is absolutely no comparison between freshly grated and pre-ground. Don't let another day pass you by!
