A must for allergies or sinus problems
I am a 47 year old man and have very bad year round allergies. I used to get sinus infections badly at least 4 times a year. I have had endoscopic nasal surgery done by my ENT twice and now (knock on wood) with medications and this product I may only get a sinus infection once a yerar. Medication nasal sprays for allergies are a must but so is self care. I do a nasal irrigation of my sinuses every night and my doctor says it is this self care that has me so much better. And this Sinuair powder is what I use for my nightly irrigation. I have a nasal spray bottle and I mix one spoonful of this powder with water for a gentle cleansing and moisturizing nasal wash. It is so soothing and takes very little time. Plus making this part of your daily regiment will keep the sinus infections away and keep your allergies at bay. I have purchased this powder from allergy sites and my doctor's office but this price here is an amazing good deal.I think with allergies so rampant now that people forget self care is the primary resource to good heath. This product is recommended by leading ENT's and allergists. My nose says thank you every day and my health has been so much better. I just want to end by saying this powder is very gentle and soothing when used. It does not sting or cause any irritation. If you have allergies, sinus infections and headaches or a stuffy nose, this product is a must.

Really like this stuff
Really like this stuff. I had been coming off the store bought NeilMed stuff originally and I do remember it taking a little getting used to. I've tried going using NeilMed again couple times (bought some at a store when I forgot to refill) and I actually don't like that kind anymore. What I like:- I can adjust the strength as needed- less waste / more environmentally friendly / less annoying packages to deal withWhat I don't like:- I do neti pots fairly frequently... not just when I think I might be getting sick. I wish they had an even bigger one than the refill containers (which are at least somewhat bigger than this). Something that was at least a 32oz / 900mL would be awesome.- would be nice if the container neck was wider and/or had a pour spout. Honestly, if it was just a square box with a snap-on seal type lid, that would be ideal (easy to make, easy to get off, easy to fit the scooper in even when it gets low).

works well but
easy to mix and does a great job with my sinus aire pump. Made some up for the little sprayer that comes with it. Gave to neighbor she loves it. Ok, I was getting close to the time to re order this but I started to think that the price was a bit high for 200 grams of salt. So I researched on the web and found this home made recipe. 2 parts salt to 1 part baking soda. I made up a batch in a small mason jar. I added 1/2 cup salt and 1/4 cup baking soda at a time and then put cap on and shook it to mix then added next part and repeated until full. My home made works just as well and costs about 75 cents for 200 grams

Bought it for the bottle
I haven't tried the powder that comes with this - powedered saline? Ok, sure. Anyway, for many years I had an Afrin bottle that had a screw on top and was a atomizing pump spray. I filled it with a saline solution used for contact lenses. One day the Afrin bottle was damaged, and I had to replace it. The last time I tried to get a replacement bottle, the one that I got could not be opened. So with this I could see that the bottle could be refilled. Anyway, the bottle is a worthy replacement for my ancient Afrin bottle. Happy customer.

not convenient
The manual rinse is not as good as automatic one. By the way, the volume seems not sufficient each time.
