Q: What is the difference between black & black 2?

HI, The black leg bag come with a water bottle pouch and black2 one doesn't have , but black2 bag are made from upgraded material (1050D waterproof nylon)

Q: Can I use it on the left leg as well?

Yes this will work on either leg just fine

Q: Can you add another one on the other side?

The pouch portion of this drop leg rig is sewn to the belt. The belt and pouch can be draped across the body like messenger bag or carried on one shoulder like a purse or wrapped around the waist. You could add other pouches to the belt if they attach with simple loops. The main pouch is big enough to carry a rain poncho, which is what i would use it for.

Q: Does the pouch come with the pictured canteen?

No. My own only came with the pouch. I imagine that you could order the water cantine, separate.
