Review: Weight loss is also linked to hormone and the type of exercise one does - The book in a lucid manner explained the impact of hormones in our body and how they affect the body weight. The cookie cutter approach to weight loss for everybody is not feasible as each body type is different. The explanations on how different hormones work was easy to understand and how to optimise on the exercises to get the best fat loss. The book was an eye opener as most people consider that one should eat less and exercise more to lose weight - this is absolutely not true. The authors present their arguments substantiated with facts and science to explain the concept of fat loss. A well written book, very informative and also inspires one to review their exercise and food patterns. Review: The answers I have been looking for - I have been desperately looking for answers as to why the scale keeps moving in the wrong direction. I have been actively doing CrossFit for almost 2 years and regardless of if I go 3X a week or 5. Nothing changes. I am stronger but my mid section stays the same. I have tried Keto and Atkins and many other diets but it has been nothing but a yo-yo lifestyle that has left me miserable and still forced to wear yoga pants while trying to hide my stomach. I have gotten to the point where I truly felt defeated and figured that maybe because I am now over 40 that this is it. I will never feel and look the way I once did as I am genetically doomed. I even went to my GP and her solution was to prescribe antidepressants. I chose not to go that route. Interesting enough I came across this naturopath doctor online and he was taking about a metabolic reset. Something I have never heard of and so out of curiosity I started doing some research. There was so much information online and I was surprised I had never heard about this and so I came across this book as the reviews helped me decide that maybe the answers I am looking for could be in here. And yes they most certainly are, everything makes sense now. I feel like I have found a glimmer of hope to change the way I feel and to stop the madness. It’s really quite simple and I haven’t been able to put the book down since it arrived on my doorstep. While I can’t share a success story yet, I am confident that the problems I have been facing have a solution that will work. I will check back in a few months to update this review as I feel reviews are so important. All the best to anyone else on this journey. 🥰

The answers I have been looking for
I have been desperately looking for answers as to why the scale keeps moving in the wrong direction. I have been actively doing CrossFit for almost 2 years and regardless of if I go 3X a week or 5. Finally a diet that works without fuss or huge cost!
I've been on this diet for 2 1\2 weeks and lost 9lbs,I can honestly say I've not been been hungry or bored which is why so many diets have failed in The past,I really feel great and confident that I'm going to reach my goal weight,I've got more energy and a feeling of well being that I haven't had for a long time. I'm a 50yr old mum of two teenagers who has struggled with my weight for years. We live on an average income and just couldn't afford The expensive diet plans out there. The book can be a little long winded at times but you need to get through it to understand how it works. It explains how your hormones are affected by what you eat and how they affect your metabolism and weight. There's a quiz which you must answer honestly to establish how your body burns calories and to decide what foods you should eat or avoid. It's very straight forward and not difficult to follow or understand. You eat 6 times a day and exercise each day, this includes healthy snacks, the exercises are not long or completely exhausting but essential to keep your metabolism going. This is not an expensive diet to follow (too many diets are full of expensive hard to get ingredients or products ) I shop in Lidl and they have all the foods I need, all I outsource is protein powder and fibre powder from amazon. I use unsweetened almond milk for the protein shakes which I is only 80p a litre in lidl. This diet will literally change how you look at food and how you have overconsumed sugar without realising it. You have one day a week when you eat and drink what you want and it's a revelation to have a cheat day,for me it's a Saturday and I look forward to it all week,it really keeps you going . The cheat day does not affect weight loss and is great for your well being. Give this book a try,the authors run the 'metabolic renewal' programme that you see advert used in Facebook etc, which I think can be quite costly, but this book is all you need . I don't write a lot of reviews but I felt that people would want to hear from an average person who has struggled and finally found the solution without being paid or sponsored etc,for a good review, this is my honest opinion, make of it what you will. Thanks for reading my review.

Love this information
This a is book well worth reading. I am wondering though, WHY they called it the Me DIET. It's not a diet book. Sure, it's information that helps you adjust how you're eating, but primarily it is about eating smaller and more frequent meals, in conjunction with 'rest-based' training, which I find fascinating. I have pretty much been eating this way for a while now, and have lost of bunch of weight prior to discovering this book, BUT I have plateaued and wondered if I was missing something. I believe the New Me Diet and the information from brothers Jade and Keoni Teta is the missing link. Now I just have to apply it. They have the training and education to back up everything they say; it's all about hormones, and whether or not your metabolic type is a factor. Are you a sugar/fat or mixed (combo of the 2) burner? We all have particular ways of eating/craving food. There is a comprehensive quiz to establish what kind of 'burner' you are. I've just gone through the book once, and am going to go through it again, so I'm well aware of what I can do in order to budge this last 5-10 pounds. Thank you Jade and Keoni on coming from a place of health and wellness. I much more respect the fact that they are both naturopathic physicians, biochemists, and personal trainers with a lifetime of being athletes. Not a crash diet - this is a lifestyle change. The book is VERY easy to read and gives many examples of individuals who have had trouble losing and maintaining weight in the past, finally succeed by eating more and exercising less (but more effectively). Well done.

intéressant
Ce livre est intéressant, la présentation des exercices est assez peu pratique à l'usage. Reste encore à faire tout cela !

It works for me!
I was not a fat kid growing up but later in life I started struggling with my weight after the birth of my first child and working long hours at a desk. My mother was one of those women who was always on the latest fad diet and I am determined not to follow in her footsteps. I first found this book in the public library and the title intrigued me. The "diet" in the book is not really a diet as much as it is a way of eating healthier and more efficient for your body type. I liked how the book helped me understand certain things that were slowing down my metabolism and I learned that some things that I thought were helpful in losing weight really were not. Best of all, the advice in this book is easy to follow and I was still able to eat what I wanted without feeling deprived. After following the advice in this book over a few months, I lost a significant amount of weight without even exercising but then I had to stop because I became pregnant. I am about to have my baby so I purchased this book directly from Amazon instead of taking it out again from the library. I plan to resume the "diet" in this book to help me lose the post-pregnancy weight and there is a lot of helpful information in the book that makes it worthy of keeping a copy on hand.
