As a first time puppy owner, I feel like I read as much as I could to find out how to raise a puppy into a calm, stable, even-tempered, friendly dog. There are so many opposing opinions and varying training approaches that it became a concern of whether or not I could do this on my own. Thanks to a friend's recommendation, I purchased the iCalm "Through a Dog's Ear" 3-CD set as part of my training regime. Due to Cornavirus work restrictions, I have been working from home for the last year; I thought it was a good time to get a puppy because I knew that I would be home more and have the time to train him correctly and consistently. Not only are the classical songs calming to my puppy in general, he seems to sleep better and take to his daily routines, like crating and independent time, with less resistance. Soon I will be heading back to the office, so I have been spending the past 5 weeks preparing my puppy for the inevitable separation. The Volume 1 CD played low, throughout the day creates a low-stress environment, one that my puppy has grown used to. On Volumes 2 and 3, daily household sounds, such as, door bells, telephones and television voices and outside sounds, such as, street traffic, construction and a walk in the park sounds, are incorporated into the music. Even in my absence, upon my return, thanks to the iCalm 3-CD set, my puppy seems to be content, enjoying some independent time and there are no signs of anxiety. I highly recommend using this product with your new puppy because it truly works!

Great music calming for puppies and humans. I will continue to use this music with all my future litters

The music is very calming, but the NOISE sections are barely audible. It really doesn't seem to be helpful to conditioning a dog.
