It's made to run on a V. I just turned a piece of angle iron over and use it for a track for the wheel to roll on.

The kind person who answered with a video showing the v groove running on a 3/4” sch 40 PVC conduit may have missed a couple of things that shoppers should know. (1) The OD of 3/4” conduit isn’t all the same. EMT aka thin wall metal conduit is 0.922” OD. Sch 40 or Sch 80 PVC or galvanized steel is 1.050” OD. A V profile roller will gradually deform round tubing and crack it. The estimated 50# weight of the door isn’t insignificant because the hardness of the roller will concentrate the weight onto a tiny area. It’s those pounds per square inch that deform the tubing a little each time the door moves. U profile roller made for the tube diameter will allow the tube to carry the moving point load without being deformed. (3) MDF (medium density fiberboard) is likely to be an unsatisfying choice for a door in the long term. Its a low purchase price attracts people to use it where it’s not ideal. It’s glue and sawmill dust.  The high glue content makes it around 170% of the weight of the same panel made from plywood. The very short strand length of the wood fiber makes it a weak panel. It will swell permanently when exposed to high humidity. Over time It will pull apart at point loads like barn door hanger bolts. OSB (oriented strand board, aka flake board) is a better lowest cost panel for a barn door. It is vulnerable to moisture over time but the long wood fibers give the panel much more of the strength of plywood. It won’t pull apart at point loads or snap easily when flexed. Cabinet grade plywood, or at least something with around 2x the number of veneer layers used for sheathing and rough flooring would be a better materials for a barn door. At the top end for material cost, V groove pine on the bias (45°) with 90° difference front to back glues up well to make a long life interior door panel that looks great. The wood should be well dried and sealed before the door is installed to avoid any chance of curling over time. It’s around the same weight as an MDF panel 1/2 as thick.

Not sure the weight per wheel but but for me it they do the job I've got a 48"×40' gate with 2" ×2" ×.062" fram with 3/4"×3/4" inside the fram and it run on a chaine link opener and I just keep the wheels greased every 2 months and I've had no issues or problems and we have about 7 cars coming and going in and out daily and still roll smoothly after 1 year +
