Do not buy! Horrible user experience and doesn’t work.
The single worst product I’ve purchased on Amazon!Worked for a couple weeks then endless “server unresponsive” message. I imagine they must have gone out of business or can’t run their servers for some reason.Had potential but not worth a penny. I would return if I wasn’t past the window for returns.DO NOT BUY.

Not a very good plug. (Terrible)
This really isn't a very good plug. I had to install a separate app on my phone and it took repeated efforts to get Alexa to recognize that. Then it didn't work for a while but now it seems to be working. I got it for $6 so I think that's probably about all it's worth. if I was going to buy another plug I think I would get one of the Amazon plugs because they work better with Alexa. I don't really recommend this plug and I don't think I would buy another one. Update. I tried moving it closer to my router. Works if I unplug then plug it in again. Then stops the next day. Useless if I am not home. Can't return it any more. Going to throw it away.

Low-cost, reliable home automation, even without Alexa.
This product is simple to set-up and use. It is reliable. I use several to control multiple lamps around the house. I don’t use Alexa, so I use the TENTEN app on my iPhone. I rely on the timer function to control the lights when I am not home. This is the only limitation I have found. Once I have set an on or off time, I can’t change it. Entering a second event works, but there is a limit to the number of events the app allows. If this were updated, the product would be rated 5 stars all around.

Slow with Alexa, cheap plug
Normal, in app use: Okay, goes out after about 30 days.Alexa use: bad. Takes up to 3 minutes to turn on [wifi speeds of around 200mbps download], and doesn't respond 75% of the time.Summary: If you want a smart plug, this would be OK for beginners who want a new plug within 30 days.

Inconsistent
Worked great at first but it loses connectivity daily now. I reinstall the skill and it works for another day then stops. I have an amazon plug as well the same distance from the router and have never had an issue.

drops connectivity from time to time
it "works" as expected, and controls a dumb lamp thats plugged into it. Unfortunately, since I've owned the plug, (dec 2018) I've had to restart (unplug and plug back in) the plug about 3 times to to connection loss.

Best price to quality ratio
Easy to set up but requires additional app. Integrates well with google home and assistant. There is little 1-2s lag between click in google home and socket turning on. The button on the site is helpful.

Subpar
Works fine when it actually works. Once a week is disconnects from my phone and won’t work with my phone. I have to delete it from the app and re set it up. Don’t waste your money.
