Hexnub’s Lightning Cover is an exceptional product. It provides protection for multiple styles of Sphero balls as well as providing traction that enhances its use. I ordered the clear blue option and it is a perfect fit and looks awesome on my SPRK+. It is a sturdy rubber material that fits tight to the Sphero giving it a natural look. Testing it with multiple movements and light commands I found that it made motion feel smoother (on wood tabletop it tends to slide due to lack of grip, but the cover made it react better) and the lights mixed with the clear blue still came out well. Overall this product is made with high-quality rubber that helps give the Sphero better grip for different surface types as well as added protection. With the low cost and the high-quality of this product, it is a no brainer for any Sphero owner. I highly suggest this product and will be picking up more colors to customize my Sphero further

These go on easily and seem like they will protect the Sphero's. They have a little bit of a tacky texture, so they add traction as well. On the down side though, they are not super clear like the pictures in the description, so much so that they have either switched the products, or the images were heavily edited. They also pick up pet hair, so if you have a dogs or cats, you will have to take it off and wash it occasionally. I have done this once and it is easy to do.

I got this for my robotics class to protect our class Spheros. I noticed that when we use them on the floor they would get scratched up really easily. And sometimes the kids drop them. This cover gives a little extra protection and keeps the plastic nice and new looking. It is easy to put on and remove and you can charge them while the sleeve is on.

The cover is a bit tacky so it grips the floors. It is not as clear as it is in the picture. It more of a milky blue. But it still works great and there is no trouble with the ball getting messages. I can even charge it with the cover on.

Works but is a very different appearance from the pictures. Is more of a translucent baby blue.

I thought the cover would enclose the spheres bolt more. Perhaps the bolt needs a larger sized cover? The one size fits all may not be ideal. The lightening bolt design for the slit is a nice touch but the edges could interfere with the roll of the bolt if the rubber tips bend. I like that you can see the lights flashing through the cover.

Milky blue not clear like advertisement. Seems stretched along edges so fit is not as I’d hoped. Arrived almost 2 weeks late.
