I bought this because I have been suffering from cold hands in the recent bad weather/energy crisis. It succeeds in warming my hands but when used as a comforter for a pain in the abdomen it really doesn't hold its heat long enough to be of lasting use. However, it wasn't very expensive and I suppose you get what you pay for.

I loved this item it is comforting and soothing at the same time. Just what I needed for my sore neck.

I found it very useful for a shoulder ache, as it wraps round, but did not retain heat for very long.
