Mate Factor, Organic Yerba Mate, Fresh Green, Loose Herb Tea, 3 Pack (12 oz (340 g))

My husband and I drink this daily. No sweetener. I have used this to replace coffee which started to make me feel anxious and just simply not good. I can drink this Mate Factor all day; it is satisfying, slightly awakening (not sure if that is from caffeine or placebo?). I think it does have a little something awakening in it, but it's different than the caffeine in coffee. I'm overly sensitive to the caffeine in coffee - and even decaf makes me feel odd (not in a good way), but I can drink this all day. 3 scoops in my large french press makes a rich brew for my husband and I to each have 2 cups in the morning. I buy several packages at a time.

Try this instead of coffee. Will change your Life!! Healthier, appetite-suppressant with more health benefits than I'd rather take the time to list. Tastes great by itself or with coconut milk & honey. I can have 3-4 cups without any jitters. No edginess. No shakes. Just wide awake and ready to go! :)

I have been buying the Guayaki mate for a while and this one is clearly superior. Just visually you can see a lot more green and shredded leaf. Most other brands there's a lot of dust and twig pieces. Smells and tastes great. Nice packaging and vacuum seal to keep it fresh. I'm thoroughly impressed with it... will be going with this brand moving forward.

I had never had unroaste maté before The Maté Factor. I am never going back. One can FEEL the difference in how the herb is processed and put to use within the body. The aroma and flavor is sweeter, and the packaging is neat and tamper-proof (which is more than can be said for other brands).

This is good yerba for the first liter, but it washes clean less than half way through the second liter of water. While it lasts, it's delish. Also, a little too fine for my liking. Clogged my pipa or whatever that thingy is called.

The packaging is wonderfully sealed and completely air-tight. Yerba mate can be smoked or unsmoked. This one is green, unsmoked, and has a mild sweet note compared to others that have more stems (see comparison photo with Guayaki San Mateo blend). I have tried many yerba mate teas and I like this one best.

Lovely, mild Yerba Mate ... this one is my second favorite, the chai is my favorite but for the price difference I have to alternate...the price makes this one a true favorite. :)I most like that it does not keep brewing or get bitter when leaving the bag in travel container!!!!!! (5 stars on that!)

I've tried quite a few Yerba Mate brands and Mate Factor is the best. Yerba Mate in general is an acquired taste and unlike most traditional teas, primarily because it's grittier, more "raw" (if that makes sense) and looks less refined. This brand gets the right consistency and it is quite good after you adjusted to it. Add a bit of lemon and it's a great morning alternative to coffee or traditional morning teas. Yerba Mate is a morning staple for me and I wouldn't use any other brand.
