EXCELLENT!
I purchased this for Father's Day for my dad, and he is very very happy! Great condition and an excellent price! Can't wait to read it myself when he's done. :)

This book is FUNNY
If you've ever lived in Michigan's Upper Peninsula or vacationed there, this is about living there in the 1920's. Wildlife stories, and Wild Life stories. Moonshine, and Chicago businessmen. Local Characters. I highly recommend this.

In the Wild
Surely there is a measure of truth to all these tales, as no one could just conjure up the adventures Danny McGinnis and his pals undertook. And what great tales they are . . . particularly for anyone with an appreciation of cantankerous colorful characters . . . old codgers, to be exact. Ribald and robust, "Danny and the Boys" is a joy. I wish I'd known that bunch!

It doesn't get better than that
One of my all time favorate books. A little tongue in cheek, a little local U.P. history. It doesn't get better than that.

This is a classic collection of Traver's stories of the UP. I wouldn't be without it in my library.
