The unit itself is a perfect fit for the original, however, the electrical connection leaves a lot to be desired. There is no guide in the middle of the plug like the original and if you're not careful, you will bend the pins pushing in the plug. The little catch that the tab on the plug clips onto isn't the correct length. You will need to cut some of the length off of the catch to allow the tab to latch and hold the plug in place.

It fit my 04' Tahoe and works fine in day 1. Time will tell. The plug was overly snug fit in mine. It went in but I doubt my wife could have done it. The rubber seal was a very tight fit, but even when I removed it and manually aligned the clip to fit and not bend the pins, it was hard to force all the way to get it to snap into place, having the weather seal only made it worse. It did eventually go into place but be aware it is a possibility yours may be a snug fit also but it does fit and work. Good buy!

I read reviews and was hesitant about buying this product, some said that it doesn't work for a 2003 Tahoe but I decided to try it anyway. I ended up buying it and the lights work on my 2003 Tahoe the rubber off the original part was giving me trouble putting it on the new light but with some time I was able to fix it and make it work.

A great value! It's the correct size and works. No problems. Just be careful with the metal prongs inside the connectors. They didn't line up exactly like the old light did. Take a good look at them before you push them together. A two-minute installation took me about 15 minutes.

I just replaced the old 3rd brake light on my 2003 suburban with this LED light. So far it is working great! It was easy to install and fits perfectly. It was a little tough to get the plug to latch together properly but I was able to get it put together. Hopefully it will last for a while. Would recommend.

Good price and nice light. Only 4 stars for longevity cause had for a month. Easy to install but given 4 due to hard to connect the wiring connector. Just as other reviews its just hard to physically plug in. Be careful not to bend prongs inside connector. Once in all good!

Installed mine over a year already, still working good. Recommend buying.
