I live down south where the homes are made of concrete block. To do the install I used green plastic anchors and no. 12 3" pan head screws (see photo). They worked great. If you are installing in masonry and use the hardware I did, use a 5/16" masonry bit on your hammer drill and drill the hole just a little longer than the anchor because after the screw goes through the post and spacer, that's about how much length is left. Install was easy enough. I just used a level/ruler to space out the racks 32" apart and mark the holes to make sure they were even. Then I pre-drilled the holes and then put them up. As you can see, they work great. They mounted snugly against the wall with the anchors and seem more than sturdy enough to hold a lot more wood than I was stacking up there. Really helped organize my garage. And the small ones were perfect to fit between the ceiling and top of the window. Could not have worked out better. I would highly recommend these.

Great product. Great customer support. The lumber rack installs quickly and easily, though possibly a tad clumsy by yourself. But it appears to be sturdy enough and took all of 10 minutes. They appear to be virtually identical to other similar lumber racks either a higher price tag. Customer service responded quickly to my inquiry and got things sorted out with zero hassle on my part. The racks do not come with mounting hardware, so be sure to supply your own. I am perfectly fine with this because I would normally chuck those screws in the trash in favor or my own. I used TimberLocks which is overkill. Overall, I feel like I got more than I paid for. Pleasantly surprised.

Today I bolted my racks to the metal frame of my 12x30ft metal building. It is rated for 100 pounds per tier, 6 tiers total. I pulled my 200lb self off the floor using just a single arm, so, 400% of rated weight? It was no problem. I appreciate the heavy weight of the steel it is made from, and the powder coat appears able to take a lot of abuse without showing it. I'm very pleased with my purchase. You'll want 3" bolts, 6 min, to mount the rack. I used 3" self-tapping hex-head bolts, into 12g steel. Pre-drilled for 6, I added 1 more each side. I think the side of my building will cave in before the rack gets torn off at this point. If you need to get long stuff off the shop floor, don't hesitate.

The Kastforce lumber rack comes in many sizes that can be made to fit your garage space. I wanted a long shelf above the garage door for wood and siding. I decided to buy 3 pair and place them every 2 studs (16" x 2). I bought 4" timberlok 3/8" lag screws (length 1 1/2" for lumber rack, 1/2" dry wall, and 2" for the stud). I also cut out 1 7/8" painters tape strips on the studs on top and bottom to help center the rack on the stud. Used A250 stud finder and Black and Decker Bullseye stud finder with the laser to align the screws of the first shelf with the rest as I went from inner shelves to outer. Used a 12" level to check vertical alignment after drawing vertical line between center of tape strips and 48" level for double checking horizontal alignment after assembling rack and laying the level across the mounted shelf and the one in hand. I used a hand nut driver to start the lag screws, used a drill to drive the lag screw into the wood, and when the drill couldn't drive it anymore, used a 5/16" wrench to finish torqueing the lag screw into the wood. Very satisfied, would recommend to anyone wanting to get some material off the floor.

I purchase several of these a year ago and recently purchased four more. Originally I installed several to fill up a wall with 6 to 10 foot boards. Now I’ve installed four more, in a row, to create a rack for 12 to 16 foot boards cause I was so impressed with them already. Put the first one where you want it, and use a long level to determine the placement of the next, no measuring necessary. The kit does not come with bolts, I recommend 1/4 inch by 3 inch lag bolts w washer, predrilled w 7/64

This is your run of the mill lumber rack and it works fine, I suppose. It's actually quite annoying, not challenging, just annoying, to get things positioned correctly to install. I spent so much time trying to get the machine screws it comes with to thread properly and the wall spacers to balance properly on install that I was left feeling like it would have been better to just make my own lumber rack. I'm sure it would have taken far longer, but it would have been more satisfying.Also, my unit didn't come with lag screws for mounting to the wall. Not entirely sure why, but I had to make an extra trip to the hardware store to get some lag screws.All in all, it's fine, seems sturdy, but was a pain to assemble and made me wish I had just built my own.

I used these brackets to organise timber and other long items in my garage/workshop. Very easy to assemble and mount. I attached some to a plasterboarded stud wall with the screws that came with it and it's very secure.I think ideal spacing is 16 inches apart, same as stud spacing.I'm buying some more for a concrete block wall.The horizontal bars are ever so slightly angled upwards, which is no harm as it stops things rolling off.The metal is thick enough that I don't have any concerns about them bending.In theory you could alter the vertical spacing of the bars by drilling another hole for the support screw at a height that suits you.

Das Regal zusammenzubauen ist etwas nervig, aber doch machbar. Schrauben zur Befestigung sind auch dabei, obwohl es anders in der Anleitung steht. Diese Schrauben/Dübel sind allerdings kürzer, als die Anleitung vorsieht. Ich habe eigene, längere Dübel und Schrauben benutzt.Es macht einen soliden Eindruck und hält das Holz, ich hoffe, auch für längere Zeit.

Solide et bien conçu. Attention pour la fixation au mur il faut des vis longues, au-moins 80 mm.
