Bright Sewing Strip Light with Touch Dimmer Cold White 6500K

Amazing. Just blew my mind when I installed it and turned it on the first time. I had to include a photo (without any other lights turned on in the room) so you can see how bright this is. Wow. I sew a lot. I've always struggled with the existing lights in the room, but this is going to revolutionize how I work and how much I can achieve now. Thank you!Awesome purchase. Worth every penny.

This is a great way to increase the lighting in the throat area of the sewing machine. It is flexible and has an adhesive back so I was able to install it all along the inside of the area at the back of the machine so now I can clearly see the back of the foot when using a quilting template (ruler) behind the foot. I wish I had found this years ago.

This light is perfect. Illuminates the sewing area quite a bit. After reading about how the sticky back didn't hold well, I cleaned the area with alcohol and then installed the strip using Velcro "dots" (the 5/8" ones. Didn't use the sticky back on the light strip at all. Worked great!

My studio is pretty dark so I have a lot of various lamps set up around my work area. But this still wasn't enough for sewing all the black fabrics I work with. As soon as I saw these lights I had to order them for myself.You stick tiny plastic brackets where you want the strip to adhere, peel off the paper backing, and stick them on. In the month I've used these lights (a whole lot) about half of the brackets have started coming off of my machine, but I'll probably just put a small drop of hot glue on them to keep them in place. These lights are worth rigging.As for the light itself, WOW! It's so bright!! I can see all my tiny stitching in the deepest of black fabrics. You hear people say they don't know how they got by without a certain product, but for real, this has made my sewing so much easier that I never again want to be without a strip of lights like these.

My "all the bells and whistles" sewing machine is in the shop for repair so I setup 43 year old Kenmore sewing machine, "no bells and whistle" I needed to finish the quilt I was working on. Well to my surprise the lighting, state of the art 43 years ago, was a dim little light, picture one. I am use to led flood lights from my current machine so I had to do something so I can see. Well I order this strip of leds and put them on my Kenmore and I am amazed at the difference. I was able to place the strip exactly where I needed it and I got tabs with holders to secure the cord. I would highly recommend this product. It was a lifesaver, for my eyes, and it can be the same for you.

I thought this would be a wonderful product, but it is only the concept that is great. The main problem is that the light strip does not stick. Also problematic to me is that my sewing machine is not designed to affix it to the machine. I tried to put it on the bottom of a wooden shelf. The lights shine straight down and not into my work area. If I put it on the wall, it shines directly in my face. I would not recommend it.

This product delivered what it decribed what it would do. I use invisible thread at times and its hard to see threading the needle even with decent lighting. But with my new LED lights it was easy to see threading the needle. Easy to instal and the cord is long with easy access to the switch to turn on. The sticky strip to attach is good but only one came loose so i bought 3M sticky strip and cut it to fit with no problem! I highly recommend!!!!

The sewing light arrived on time. Installed on sewing machine. The first one lasted about 5 days was bright and worked. Then it would not turn off and stayed on but the light was was less bright. It would not turn off.The second one lasted for two days. It had the same issues. Accept it turned its self on....I was pretty freaked out by this as clearly there is a short of some kind....what if it caught fire...what If it turns on in the middle of the night ..what if I was not at home and my house burnt down because of this....killing my pets. I’m returning it and not ordering another. I figured one not working, I was willing to reorder.. but this sewing light is cursed, at least for me.
