Great for chairs and parrot toys!
This works well and is a great value, however unlike reed rush it has no stretch and is harder to get to lay in line than one that you could soak. But for paper rush it’s fantastic. I had some left over and used it for my parrots toys!! Very sturdy.

Neat Stuff!
This was the first time I have used this. I learned to cane a chair by YouTube! I know where every flaw is. 😉Nice product!

Was perfect for my needs!
I use this product as an alternative to another and was a little scared. I make yarn baskets, and usually with cotton cord. However, on my quest for a more sturdy and less expensive material, I found this. This has been perfect for my baskets. It's really sturdy on the finished product. It took some time to get used to the more effort and tension needed coming from a soft, really flexible, cotton cord.I absolutely love using this material for a hobby of mine. I also tought others using this material and they prefer it as well.

Worked well to recane a stool, used extra to wrap a table leg for cat scratch post.
I used this (along with some videos on you tube) to recane a stool seat that the cats had destroyed over the years. I did not put it in water, and while it was a bit stiff, I was able to manipulate it for my purposes. It was a bit tricky to tie pieces together, but I used a needle nose pliers to help me pull the knots tightBonus use: I had some leftover, so I wrapped the wooden legs of a tall table that my foster cats were using for a scratching post. Instant cat heaven! The cats all love to scratch and the legs are being protected. The dimensions of the stool I finished is 13 x 11 x 1.5 inches and I used up about 2/3 of the roll. So I have enough to make more cat scratching posts! The color pictured seems about right, if anything the rush I got might be a slight bit darker.

Very good product. I would buy it again
Very good product. I would buy it again. When my neighbor threw out her grandmother's chair because the seat was gone. I took it and watched YouTube videos to learn how to fix it. She was very surprised that her favorite chair now looks as good as new. ...and I had a lot of fun too.

Adequate but inconsistent.
I was able to finish weaving a new seat for one kitchen chair but only because I had some scraps leftover from a previous project. This spool was not enough for one chair (approximately one square foot). The fiber itself was not twisted well during manufacture leaving weak areas that I had to wind by hand while weaving adding considerable work to the project. One such area broke under moderate tension causing me to have to splice in a new piece costing more rush fiber. This was my second time ordering this same fiber from the same seller and the first batch was considerable better. It could've been a poor spool but I'm considering other options for my next project.

Easy to work with, covered a child's rocking chair and then some
Well made, professional quality and I'm looking forward to it lasting as long as the last seat cover on a family heirloom children's rocking chair that was in need of a new seat. Youtube has some great do it yourself videos to help guild the way. It took about 40 minutes for me to get the project done and there was plenty left if I ever need it.
