Near East Quaker Rice Pilaf Mix, Garlic & Herb 6.3 oz (Pack of 12 Boxes)

This is one of my favorite flavors of Near East Rice Pilaf. It's a very versatile and economical side dish, and complements rice, chicken, fish or lamb. I now have it on a Subscribe & Save delivery every 2 months, so I'm never out of stock. If I have extra chicken broth or vegetable broth on hand, I'll use it to replace some of the water. Sometimes I add other ingredients, such as chopped parsley or slivers of fresh basil; maybe even pine nuts or a few chopped oil-packed sun dried tomatoes. It's easy to "dress it up", but I like it just fine plain.

This pilaf is amazing and easy to make. Definitely going to buy again.

We've tried garlic rice from a few brands, and this one is definitely the best. It's not necessarily the 'healthiest' but it's got the best flavor & texture. Absolutely delicious, for a decent price

Seven of the 12 packages had OPEN interior flavor packs. The unopened ones were light colored, dry powder, open ones were moist clumps of very dark material.No damage to the outside of the packages, these have been improperly sealed at the factory.

My kids love the taste. It's easy to cook.

This is my husband's absolute favorite rice! He would eat this every night if I made it. I can't find it in stores in my area anymore so its a good thing I can buy it on Amazon, or I would have a very unhappy hubby on my hands!

My second time buying this and both times, the expiration date on the box is within a month of when I received the product. I don’t have an issue with the product itself, but would prefer a longer shelf life.
