This cable is well made, with sturdy connectors on each end. It works exactly as described and installation was problem free. It is an excellent product fir a very reasonable price.

Bought this cable to connect a vintage PowerBook to my new Asus monitor. Plugged it in and it worked without any issues. The cable itself is incredibly well-made. It just feels like a top rate piece of gear. I’d definitely buy from this manufacturer again!

A cable is a cable, and you usually don't think anything special about it. Until you open the package and see the shade of blue the housing is! Ok, and the cable worked perfectly. I was glad to still find a cable to use on my old DVI monitor that connects with newer HDMI devices, and at a very affortable price!

I was having trouble getting my laptop to output to my external monitor when using a DVI-D to HDMI dongle, but this thing works no problem without fiddling around. My laptop recognized the device immediately upon plugging it in, and that's that. The cable is nice and thick, the connectors are high quality and gold plated, and the rest is encased in metal.

Purchased this cable to connect my older Flat Screen Dell monitor to my new laptop. Worked perfectly, without doing a thing, Plug and play all the way.

I use this cable to switch between multiple connections on my monitor and it's working great for that purpuse. I can switch to the VGA port to use my KVM and support several systems there, or back to my DVI port and this system. It allows me great flexibility in chosing which device uses the monitor at the time. The length is about right for placing a system on the floor behind a desk and them reaching up to a monitor that's mounted on a arm system like I have. It's long enough that I can swing the arms around and nothing binds. Great quality cable at a fair price.

I bought this to try and use a WQHD monitor with a HDMI input with my Mac which has a DVI output from a NVIDIA Quadro FX 5600 1.5GB car. Unfortunately, contrary to what is claimed on the product page, it does not work at 2560 x 1600 resolution as you can see by the blurred text. It does however work at 1600x900 if that's good enough for you. It may work the other way I don't know. The cable itself is great quality, looks good and is durable to touch.

Bought this to connect my laptop to an older monitor that doesn't have HDMI. So far the cable has been good, connected to the ports smoothly and pictured worked brilliantly. The cable seems good quality and looks as though it will last but I've only had it a couple of weeks so it hasn't been through much yet. The metallic blue ends rather than black plastic are a nice touch.

I accidentaly bought monitors that didn't have a DVI port on them, just HDMI and DisplayPort. My motherboard only had HDMI, DVI & VGA. So before I brought a graphics card that had both HDMI and DisplayPort I thought I'd give this cable a go. I used this cable to connect the DVI port on my motherboard to a HDMI port on my monitor. It worked perfectly!The reason I've been very specific with my use case is because other reviews have indicated that my config isn't possible.The cable seems well made and looks the part with the blue metal port housings.

My old monitor was becoming very tempremental at switch on,and all the new moinitors in my price range had HDMI only.This adaptor allowed me to connect the DVI output on the graphicscard to the HDMI on the monitor.THe picture was excellent, a vast improvement on VGA.Highy recommended if like me you have an older graphics card.

HDCP stands for High-bandwidth Digital Content ProtectionNow why do i even need to bother about it ?If you have any streaming netflix or amazon subscription then you should...When streaming video content while using dual monitor for example you will face this issue. You cannot view hd content due to hdcp restrictions. That is the caution symbol you get for viewing content on your streaming platform. Your will be downgraded to standard video which is of low quality.This happens if you turn off the display power on second montior. The condition being when both connected to graphic card, both the displays should be powered on irrespective of whether you intent use it or not.Secondly the browser you use may be chrome or firefox each comes with hdcp settings called DRM or protected content. It's enabled by default, just to cross verify.Conclusion:Use only either one connected monitor and another disconnected from graphic cardOrBoth the connected montiors powered on, Not one on and another one off.*Upvote if this has been helpful.
