Q: Does it make noise as it cleans

Mine made absolutely no noise at all. The procedure was FAST! Took almost no time at all. I bought my Bose player 15 years ago, and it had never been cleaned before.

Q: Will this work on a Bose radio/CD player?

Yes I used it on my Bose radio/CD with the multi CD unit. Worked well for all.

Q: My player seems to have a bit of static when playing a CD. Will this do the trick?

If the problem is on the reading lens, this cleaner does a great job. On the other hand I would clean the disc itself with a good, soft eyeglass cleaning cloth to remove any dust or fingerprints.

Q: Is this compatible with blue ray?

The one I purchased does not work in either format.
