Nice Design, Good Material, Imperfect Execution
Have it for a week now and been using it daily in my welding class. Much better dexterity using this than the heavy weight gloves I first purchased. I was able to operate the fuel and oxygeon control knobs with ease (precise control). Much better heat protection than the leather "work glove", "driving gloves", and Military Issued NOMEX gloves I have for carpentry and other tasks. The padding on the cuffs and edge of the palm area was a nice feature. It did get hot in the thumb and index finger area after welding approximately 6 inches of 3/16 plates. I was doing OFW (Oxy Acylene Welding) with fill rods. One negative I have regards the quality control on sizing or construction. The thumb portion on the right hand is longer than the one on the left. When I tried it on, I immediately noticed excess room on the right thumb. About ยฝ inch extra. I measured the two side by side and confirmed one was longer than the other. Other than that, I like the glove. Please see attached photos for details.

A little yellow and blue
Its worth it the only complaint i have is that it stains your hands yellow and a little blue.

Better in every way except fit than BSX' $50 gloves
I bought another set of BSX gloves for twice the price, and they fit superbly better, however I wish these fit the same since they're the same size. I would use these over the black short cuff with velcro around the wrist because these gloves will handle way much more heat and you can fling them off if they get too hot vs. the black velcro cuff which you're confined to until you can set everything down, un-velcro, and fling. By then it's too late anyways and you've already felt the heat.So yeah these gloves would be the best damn TIG gloves for thickness and protection that I've seen if only they cut them the same as they cut they're more expensive gloves.

They are very good gloves
I like that they protect my hands very well and are comfortable because of that I leave them on longer making my work safe. I use them for welding cutting with a grinder and preparing metal to weld. I know there not meant to last for ever but my gloves arenโt that old and they are ready to be replaced. They are falling apart

-Heavy Tig Gloves-
If you have to buy your own gloves they will last a lot longer than normal tig gloves. They do run a bit big so if a large is just normal for you get a medium!Saves my wrists from cuts with sheet metal while i am fiting and welding and i can make very long welds without burning my hands.Very good Heavy tig gloves

Nice dexterity but the thumbs are a bit long
Nice dexterity but the thumbs are a bit long, just enough to be noticeable. As for durability, get too hot and they shrink up like any other glove I've tried. Soft, nice padded feature built in, comfortable too

Too thick for tig welding.
Like another reviewer said, these are good mig welding gloves. They are not good tig welding gloves though....I tig weld all stainless and aluminum everyday, anything from 16ga to .375", and I dont know how anyone could comfortably manipulate a torch or feed wire while wearing these.I suppose that long sessions with an air cooled torch and resting on very hot metal these would be better than typical thin tig gloves, but for every day fabricating they are too bulky and make it difficult to use a tig rig in tight spots or tricky positions.2 stars just because they fit well and they can sit in my toolbox for when I mig weld, but these just aren't right for me to tig with.
