Product does not fit SL-BD22 turntable
Like other reviews, I had to shave down the red connector to get it to fit in my SD-BD22 turntable. It seems to have quieted the buzzing sound, but playing it through my Vizio sound system via the Aux input which is hooked up to my TV cancels out the audio from my TV (set to Optical). When I have the red and white aux cables plugged into my amp and switch to Optical to play audio from the TV, the audio completely cuts out, but comes back on if I unplug the red and white aux cables from the amp. Will likely return as a defective product. Very disappointed.

I don't recommend this product.
Does not fit for the Technics SL-QD22 turntable. The end with the red protection material is too thick to fit in the ground slot. I had to modify it to make it fit smoothly. Not a good thing for a customer to end up doing.

Expected better, but it does work.
Bought to replace a missing wire.Like others have said, I needed to shave down the shielding to get it to actually fit, and even then it seemed very fiddly to have good contact. But once it's in a good spot, it works fine. I followed the advice of another reviewer to add some strands of copper wire to the plug and that seems to have helped a lot. I have to turn my volume all the way up to hear even a hint of hum, now.In short, your mileage may vary but expect to have to tweak some things to get it working properly.

A little tight, but it works on Technics SL-QD33
This solved the 60Hz hum problem between my Technics turntable and the phono preamp. Be sure to make sure your model has a male type of connection for ground, and check the model number. The connector on this is a bit tight, but it conducts the ground signal.

Fits loose, was not making contact at the Turntable
This seemed to fit snug, but using it as it arrived resulted in a ground loop hum in the turntable/receiver. I remedied the problem by adding some stranded copper wire to force a connection under the rubber plug. The spade connection at the receiver was fine.
