I was having trouble finding the brown shade I liked. I've used lots of CG products, but the only eyeshadow I've used is a light, pearly shade to highlight under my eyebrows. For five bucks, this was worth a try.It's great! It goes on smoothly, blends easily, and lasts all day. I absolutely love the color-- rich, warm, and really flattering. The applicator is foam. It works well, and then I blend with a brush.Excellent value and excellent product!

The Silkers line is hard to find anymore, but it's well worth it to pick one up. The color payoff is excellent and the shadow is silky and isn't patchy upon application. I have very oily skin and only set with a powder - no primer - and the color lasted all day with no creasing. Love these.

I love this color and always looking for in a store and can’t find it for the price that I bought it online with Amazon. Delighted with what it is and how it looks on it has a shimmer too. I would love to buy more of these and other colors because it’s so accessible this way

Attractive color, smooth application

Have been using this color for years and lately not finding it stores. Love the iridescence and stays on all day.

In a rush this is a good all over the eye shade, it goes with everything. If traveling and you don't want to drag along a lot of makeup, this can be your perfect eyeshadow. It lasts all day and night.

I like the shadow and the price but the clasps on the case inevitably break which makes it difficult to store or transport and as the shadow starts wearing further down it starts to break and crumble which is messy and wasteful.

Great eyeshadow and value, but good luck opening the product. I have never had more difficulty opening anything. The eyeshadow comes in bubblewrap, which appear fused to the eyeshadow case. There was no opening, and i had to cut and cut into the bubblewrap and slice into it. Then, when I was about to give up, i finally was able to cut a gap where I could remove the eyeshadow. And then, the eyeshadow case is taped shut, and good luck with finding the clear tape and removing that. The good news is, the eyeshadow arrived undamaged, and it works great. The bad news is that it will take you 10-15 minutes to open the product.PS - I bought this product to use on my eyebrows, with an eyebrow brush. If you are buying it for that purpose, it doesn't work well. It isn't very visible. As an eyeshadow, it's great.

This is not a matte shadow, like so many are these days. It has a great sheen to it. I use it as a base under all my other shadows, and then they blend beautifully. It is my favorite shadow and has been for many years. It comes with a great sponge applicator so the shadow doesn't flake off when applied. The price has gone up a bit recently, but I will continue to buy it as long as Cover Girl never changes the formula.

Love this color very wearable. Love covergirl eyeshadows. You always have the best makeup and shades that they don't have in stores anymore or discontinued. Will keep purchasing.

If you want sparkle to your eyeshadow this would be fine. I wasn't wanting that. I thought it was matte. That's on me. Cover Girl is a trusted product line. One star off because it wasn't what I wanted not because of delivery or quality of product. It arrived fully intact.
