What a inspirational and incredibly interesting book . Can thoroughly recommend .

I have seen some of the pictures reproduced in this book and the colour is good, although it will never match the real thing. The real paintings have to be seen to appreciate the subtle colours and immediacy of them. In my opinion they scintillate. The book fills in the background of the man and his work and life. Most enjoyable.

Love the book and love the artist. Bought it for myself for Christmas, so musn't be naughty and read it all. Initial first look tells me it's a great book.

A really nice book with lots of good size colour illustrations of Ivon Hitchens wonderful abstract paintings. A very British view of the landscape. If 20th century British modern art is your thing this is one for your collection.
