The battery fits perfectly, is much higher capacity, and has the charging port identical to the original Icom Battery, I am very pleased with the Price and battery.

The battery pack has a higher capacity than the original which gives better run time, it fits perfectly. It will not however stop charging in the desktop charger or on the wall charger. The charge light remains on for days. So you will have to charge it and then remove it from the charger to avoid overcharge.

Works for what I needed, a hand held radio, and is great for the cost. The ICOM OEM battery claims to have 1200 mA storage so this is about 8 percent less, but it is half the price of the ICOM.

This is the second battery I've tried after sending the first back. The first had a charging port and pin completely out of alignment by enough that you couldn't insert the BM-112U wall charging plug! Also, it fit very loosely once mounted on the radio. The second (with different markings so different maker?) also had the same misalignment on the charging port! But this one fit just a little tighter (still not as firm as the original). This time I tried using an x-acto knife to cut away the charging port enough to fit the plug. That was easier than I thought it would be. So I'm keeping this one. But I'm still mystified about how they can produce and let go out of the factory these batteries with the charging port misalignment. Seems to work fine but have only turned it only briefly so can't speak to battery life or longevity.
