Parker Ingenuity 5th Technology Pen, Medium Point with Black Ink Refill 1931460 - Deluxe Blue Violet

Lovely pen write smoothly and is a good weight in your hand. It a unique design but not too expensive, I really like it. Just love Parker pens.

A birthday treat for myself, always been Parker pen fan.

This is a lovely looking and heavy feeling pen, but it is just a very posh fibre-tip pen in a luxury box. What isn’t immediately apparent is that it doesn’t write ‘out of the box’ and you have to swap the dummy refill for the hidden refill, and there are no instructions explaining this or how to do it. I am a professional writer and it even had me foxed for a few seconds! Another thing to watch out for is the wide variation on price, depending on the seller. This seller is the cheapest I found, but it pays to shop around. Teachers and professionals might find a red or green refill useful, but you can’t seem to find these less popular options.

Writes very inconsistently and not smooth. For this price I expected better of Parker.

Smooth writer, as described, great product.

Beautiful to write with, very smooth and comfortable to use. The ink cartridge lasted from Tuesday to Saturday morning. I wrote about ½ an A4 page each day. I have ordered a refill and a cheaper pen as well as I can't afford refills that cost more than 5 cartridges. I'm quite disappointed as the pen was the most money I've ever paid for a fountain pen.

I don't own one, and I never will. And to be honest, I doubt I will ever buy a Parker pen in future, because this is so fundamentally dishonest. The apparent nib and fountain pen "feed" (the black bit that in a real fountain pen supplies ink to the nib) do absolutely NOTHING except cover a tube leading to the real nib/point. But Parker choose to market it as some kind of new fountain pen. For me at least, that destroys Parker's reputation in one fell swoop. The refills cost about £5. You can refill a real fountain pen from a bottle at least 5 times for about £1. 'nuff said.

Unlike fountain pens, ballpoint pens and RollerBall pens, this one feels very smooth.

It writes nice despite it is not exactly like fountain pen - one can not change line width noticeably by strong or light pressing. The number of refill colors is poor compared with pen ink colors available fro various manufacturers. At the same time the 5th type refill price is 2 times higher than Parker ball point refill. But this pen is not like ballpoint or roller for sure. New experience for me. Worth trying. Chances are It finds addicts. As to me, well, I am an old men and I prefer old good fountain pen with M or F size gold nib. My current choices from relatively non-expensive pens are Pelikan M400 or, less expensive, Diplomat Excellence A+ series with F 14K gold nib and brown ink.

É uma excelente caneta, bom material para esta nova geração da Parker. Excelente tinta e escrita. Equilibrada, suave e de boa escrita. Cor bonita e bem apresentada.
